This place is pretty amazing. They have a book with all the food they offer, including descriptions and everything you need to make a decision on what to eat. Good luck with that! So many good dishes. Service was on point as well as a pretty nice atmosphere. Parking was validated for 2 hours. We will be back! Our dishes looked like the pics on the menu and was super flavorful!
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, everything about the experience was really good. I was introduced to this place by work mates for lunch. I came with high hopes and wasn’t disappointed. The seasoning was delicate and complex, the presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere was good for a lunch rush.
Tldr: Great place to pick up authentic Asian food. Most of their soup noodles are just okay to me, so I don't recommend any of those. But everything else is banging delicious. Watercress- cooked just right till tender and seasoned well Chinese broccoli - Steamed but still quite crunchy. I personally felt they were still too hard, and the fried garlic bits really carry it in terms of taste/texture. Salt and pepper brussel sprouts - fried really well, actually felt like it had a lack of seasoning though but I don't mind since I generally like brussel sprouts and it was a good texture. Mushroom spinach Garlic noodle - not as heavy as I expected. I normally find garlic noodles to be too oily or buttery, but this one retained a sharp garlicky taste. Like, punch you in the face garlic taste. The noodles are on the thinner side but cooked well to keep it's firmness. Overall seasoned well. There's very little spinach in it, but a good amount of mushrooms and the mushrooms are also well salted and meaty. A good amount of noodles as well, would recommend for any garlic noods lover. Fried calamari - super crispy, lightly fried so the batter coating isn't too heavy. Comes with a side of sweet sauce that compliments the fish. Grandma's BBQ pork - tender without being too fatty, and well sauced, a must for any Chinese chashu lovers. Bone marrow garlic soup - soup itself is super rich and hearty with an abundance of garlicky taste. Great for a rainy or cold day. Although I felt the noodle choice for this dish was not the best, and it is difficult to pick off the meat from the bone, overall it was okay. Hainanese chicken rice - chicken is super good, juicy, tender, lightly sauced and delicious. The chicken rice comes in a huge mound, too generous for the amount of chicken there is. Our batch seemed a little dry and I found it lacking in flavor. If the rice was not dry the whole dish would have been great Nasi lemak - coconut rice is fragrant, shrimp chips are nice and crunchy, roasted peanuts add a nice nuttiness, pickled carrots/cabbage help cut the heaviness, fresh cucumber is a great palate cleanser, spicy sambal onion, which is quite spicy but savory sweet deliciousness, along with your choice of protein. I got the beef rendang. It was more tender in my memories, but otherwise fine. Overall one of my favorite dishes. I would highly recommend if you like Singaporean/Malaysian food. Jasmine green milk tea with honey boba - good tea, the honey boba was sweet but the texture was disappointing as it was on the mushier side. Perhaps we got an old batch of boba. Napkins - very good for picking up oil/grease
Absolutely delicious! Everything we got delivered to our table was on point with flavor, texture and presentation. The staff was friendly and the service fast. I wish this was closer to home as they have so many items on the menu that I would love to try.
Just tried Food Terminal and ngl their Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang was almost perfect. The beef was super tender but the flavor wasn't quite hitting like my mom's homemade version but still pretty good. The Curry Chicken Noodle was fire tho and def worth trying! Shoutout to Mya for the amazing service, and u can tell why they got that Michelin rec - the food presentation and service were on point. 🍜✨
