Customer Reviews
The vegan and nonvegan options are all really good and not greasy! Honestly really good for drinking or just late night sinner. Went there half an hour before closing, the service is nice, music is really on point. Def will go back soon!
Overall, the food was not great. The “signature” dish is uninspired, and has the feel and presentation of something that could be made in a dorm. In addition, the bathrooms were filthy, and the staff attitude left much til be desired. Handing the check while we were still dining, and taking bowls as soon as the spoon gets put down are such big No-no’s.
Came here after seeing a XHS post raving about the restaurant and its affordability (not true), and believed that it was probably posted by a relative of the restaurant’s owner. 😂 Here’s why: I would have given it a 2 🌟 if not considering it to be a newly opened restaurant. Few things first, do no try to order the milk tea in the restaurant as there are at least 10 different specialty milk tea shops in the shopping strip. I was shocked to taste the powder in the drink from my “Thai tea” and same with my cousin’s “classic milk tea”, I didn’t know powder was even a choice for “classic” milk tea. Secondly, we ordered 辣子鸡丁 or spicy popcorn chicken, and we got something that I have never seen before, or more like something I could make better from my college dorm stovetop. I guess the chef neglected to Google what that dish’s supposed to look like (or taste like). The eggplant was the only highlight and we finished the dish. Sour fish soup was decent except the ratio between fish and cabbage was more like 1:4, could just have used a smaller bowl so it didn’t look that bad.
Our family visited Flavor House for the first time, and I have to say, it was surprisingly good! The food is incredibly authentic, and I was impressed by the variety of traditional Chinese dishes on the menu. I ordered crispy lamb chop, stir fried pork intestine, popcorn chicken, pork & cabbage dumpling, catfish tofu. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The bold flavors transported me back to China. The pricing is reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. I’ll definitely be back soon!"
First time here, personally not really like it, but my kids love it so much. I ordered beef brisket rice noodles, it came the soup on the side, I was little bit confused, I thought it was noodle soup but it was dry noodle and soup on the side. Tastes better after I added some chili oil and salt. I gave 3 star on that dish. Then I ordered some to go for my kids and husband. They like A5, A6 and G1. My husband really likes the G1 BTW.
