Flaming Buffet

Ok, so I’ve been here twice but you’ll get one review. So it’s getting 3 stars. We use to frequent this place when it first opened years ago and it was amazing. Hadn’t been in about 2-3 years and decided to take my sister, when we went to leave the waiter asked for his tip and stood there and wouldn’t move so we could get up. I don’t carry cash and tip when I pay at the front with my card. The man insisted and even said I needed to leave a tip first. I was taken back. My sister was with me and she left some cash. He would’ve gotten a bigger tip when I paid but it’s ok, he can have the few dollars my sister had. All of the fried food that day was way over fried and hard. I was not impressed. When they first opened I use to see them switch out all of the serving spoons and this time I never saw them do that. The food isn’t bad, I just won’t be back anytime soon. I didn’t like the waiter

Very good food ! Decently priced $35 for two people at 5pm

So my bf and I went to a buffet and it was super packed so we decided to give Flaming buffet a try. Food was good and fresh nothing wrong it from our opinion, but what messed up our vibe there was when we paid for our tab one of the waitresses there that wasn’t even our server to begin with comes and picks up our receipt and looks at the tip line right away and tells us we need to leave a tip whether it’s cash or on the card. My bf told her straight up “no we don’t need to leave you a tip if we don’t want to, plus you weren’t even our server and all yall do is bring drinks anyways yall don’t serve our food at the table.” So mind you I went ahead and left her only $10 and she looked at the receipt and still looked mad I told her “well that’s all You’re getting I’m not giving you more when I shouldn’t have to give you nothing cause you weren’t my server.” She looked more mad so when we walked out we informed the front manager. Don’t let anyone pressure you into leaving a tip especially if they don’t serve your food or aren’t your server.

Decent, but I was a bit disappointed in this Faming Buffet compared to others in which I’ve eaten. Some of the food looked like it have been sitting out for a while, which isn’t usually the case at this chain. We went on a Wednesday evening at around 7, so maybe it was a slow evening?

As far as buffets go, this was pretty great! I went for lunch and the prices were decent. There was a nice variety of food and it tasted great! I was especially surprised that the fish tasted good (I don’t usually get good fish at a buffet). I didn’t have any of the usual buffet issues like stale or over rubbery food (from being under a heat lamp too long). The sushi wasn’t the best (the rice was a little chewy), but you don’t go to a buffet if you want great sushi. The staff doesn’t go out of their way to be overly friendly, but they’re definitely nice. I will most definitely be coming back! Great buffet with great options! Even the kids love it!
