Welcome to First Wok, your local Chinese restaurant situated at 3967 7th Street Rd, Louisville, KY 40216, USA. As a Chinese restaurant in the Louisville area, First Wok aims to provide a variety of Chinese dishes for the local community. You can reach them at (502) 448-0588 or via mobile at +1 502-448-0588 for inquiries or to place an order.

First Wok operates within the Chinese Restaurant category, suggesting a focus on traditional and perhaps contemporary Chinese cuisine. This typically includes a wide array of dishes such as stir-fries, noodle and rice dishes, soups, and various meat, poultry, and seafood preparations, often featuring a balance of flavors – sweet, sour, salty, savory, and sometimes spicy. Chinese restaurants often cater to both individual meals and family-style dining, with options for appetizers, main courses, and sides.

Based on the limited information available, specifically the customer reviews, it's challenging to provide a comprehensive and objectively positive description of the environment, services, features, and promotional information of First Wok. The provided reviews highlight some significant concerns regarding the restaurant's service and food quality. It's important for potential customers to be aware of these experiences.

One customer reported issues with their order accuracy, stating that they ordered two meals with two drinks but only received one drink. They also mentioned an argument with the staff regarding the missing item. This suggests a potential issue with order taking or fulfillment and customer service interactions. The same review also critiqued the food quality, describing the rice as overcooked and flavorless, and a meal that contained an excessive amount of mushrooms compared to other ingredients like vegetables and chicken. Additionally, this customer witnessed staff arguing with another customer immediately after their own order, raising concerns about the overall professionalism within the establishment.

Another concerning review detailed a case of food poisoning after eating at First Wok the previous night. The customer described symptoms starting with stomach upset and escalating to severe illness. This is a serious allegation that potential customers should consider. Food safety and hygiene are critical aspects of any food service establishment, and such a report warrants significant attention.

Given these recent customer experiences shared online, it is difficult to objectively describe positive features or services of First Wok. Typically, a Chinese restaurant might offer services such as dine-in, carry-out, and possibly delivery. They might feature a menu with popular Chinese dishes, lunch specials, or family meal options. The ambiance could range from casual to more formal, depending on the establishment's focus. However, without positive information or direct details about First Wok's offerings, we must rely on the available feedback, which unfortunately points to negative experiences.

It is important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not be representative of every customer's interaction with First Wok. However, they do provide insights into potential areas of concern regarding food quality, order accuracy, customer service, and food safety.

As there is no promotional information provided, we cannot share any current deals, discounts, or special offers that First Wok might be running. Customers interested in learning more about the restaurant or its offerings may want to contact them directly at the provided phone numbers.

In conclusion, based on the available information, particularly the recent customer reviews, potential patrons of First Wok should be aware of the reported issues concerning order accuracy, food quality (including overcooked rice and ingredient balance), customer service professionalism, and a serious allegation of food poisoning. While further positive information about the restaurant's environment, services, and features is unavailable, it is recommended that individuals consider these recent experiences when making a decision about dining or ordering from First Wok.

For those still interested in trying First Wok, perhaps due to its location or menu offerings not detailed here, it may be prudent to inquire about their current food preparation practices and express any concerns based on the feedback found online. Direct communication with the restaurant might provide further clarity or reassurance.

Specifically ordered two meals with 2 drinks. Paid with card plus tip. Order came up and one drink was provided. Clerk argued with me 2nd drink order was not placed. Rice was overcooked with zero flavor. Meal was overloaded with more mushrooms than vegetables or chicken. Witnessed staff arguing with one other customer directly after our order. Very unprofessional.

I’ve been coming to this place for the last seven years since I moved into this area due to its convenient location. I’ve never had an issue with this place of business until today when I ordered chow fun but receive Mei fun instead. After my wife went back to the restaurant to address the order, the owner even know the difference between a chow fun noodle which is thick from a Mei fun noodle which is very thin. So therefore, needless to say from the disrespect to my wife and the way, the owner treats his loyal customers, I will not be returning to this place ever again.

I didn't know that you could ask them for no onions Are peas in your food? And they will not put it in there. That is very nice someone Some of them won't. I stopped going there for a while because it was really giving me indigestion and not tasting very well. If I went this last time and it was really good.
