Great orange and szechuan chicken! I can imagine the bulk of their menu is great based off other reviews. The lone owner upfront took great care of us. We were the only party dining in one evening but several pick up orders were keeping them busy. We will definitely be coming back
I want to come by and try the Mongolian beef and fried rice. The orange chicken is authentic and it is delicious. It comes with a bowl of steamed rice. The hot and sour soup was immaculate easily my favorite part of dinner it’s hot/fresh and tangy/sour with a veggie egg roll complimented by the soy sauce you can’t go wrong. Chicken Lo mein was also good pretty standard dish anywhere you go for Chinese! Mom taken orders pops cooking it up. Just the way I like it. Will be back.
Beware dining in here if you’re Caucasian! I really wish I could leave a better review because the food was so good, unfortunately we had a rather poor experience with our service that can not be overlooked. A simple, quaint, family style, Asian restaurant with beautiful plants that reached the ceiling. There seemed that only one person ran the front of house, which was fine for such a small place. She asked if we were dining in or taking togo and we sat ourselves. She brought us menus but didn’t ask us what we would like to drink and just brought us water. I would have ordered tea my friend would have like a soda but she never asked. I love a wide array of foods and especially like authentic cuisine and culture. She asked if we were ready and I asked for the seafood hot pot. She look right at me and told me I wouldn’t like that and I should order happy family instead. I was so confused. I asked “why wouldn’t I like that?”. She said that it was a more traditional Chinese dish and she didn’t want us to waste food. I have never been spoke to this way. I was like, “ummm it definitely sounds like something I would like, I don’t understand why I can order it.” She said ohhhh, you sure? And I said I think I’m sure. Then my friend asked for the General Tso chicken. She brought us plates a regular forks. I noticed that we were the only Caucasian guests. She was rather nice and talkative to all the other guests who were all using chop sticks. She brought out a container of rice and I asked her for chop sticks which she did finally bring. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcoming at this point. The chicken came first and it was wonderful. The breading to chicken ratio was spot on and the chicken was tender and juicy, not to mention the sauce was perfect. Then the hot pot came which looked no different than hot pots I have gotten from other restaurants. It had shrimp, fish, tofu, chicken and vegetables. It was very good. Great flavor and the chicken was surprisingly tender. I was hoping their was squid since I saw it on the menu but it did not, and I was surprised it had chicken when it didn’t say it would, but I wasn’t mad at it because the chicken tasted so good. She did refill our water once. Overall, I would eat her again, but ONLY for take out since we were treated so poorly.
Came here last night, this is the best Chinese food in the DFW area. Our server was so attentive, and our food came out in a timely manner. It was absolutely delicious and flavorful. We will definitely be coming back.
FEEL LIKE HOME! We have been coming to the restaurant weekly since 2007. My son loves their fish tofu (none spicy). We came here every time we came back in town from the trip to taste being home. The restaurant is own by a coupe nearly 30 years. And I do not know how they do that. They do not hire anyone to work for them. They do everything on their own. Such an amazing and powerful couple is!!! We love come here to talk to them and hear about their adventures. A lot of customers have been coming here generation after generation.
