About Far East

Welcome to Far East, a Chinese restaurant situated within the Leesburg Outlet at 241 Fort Evans Rd NE #639, Leesburg, Virginia. As a Chinese restaurant operating in a food court environment, Far East primarily caters to shoppers and visitors looking for a quick and convenient meal. You can contact them at (703) 737-7959 or +1 703-737-7959 for any inquiries.

Given its location within a shopping outlet's food court, the environment of Far East is likely characterized by a casual and bustling atmosphere typical of such settings. Seating is generally communal or limited to the restaurant's immediate counter area. The focus is on efficiency and quick service to accommodate the flow of shoppers. Customers can expect a functional space designed for brief dining stops rather than an elaborate or intimate dining experience. The ambiance would likely be lively and informal, reflecting the high traffic nature of an outlet mall food court.

The services offered by Far East primarily revolve around quick-service dining. Customers typically order at a counter, and the food is prepared and served rapidly. Takeout is a significant aspect of their service, allowing shoppers to grab a meal and continue browsing or eat elsewhere within the outlet. While dine-in options might be available in the form of limited seating in the food court area, the core service is geared towards fast and efficient meal provision. Delivery services are not mentioned in the provided reviews, and it is less common for food court restaurants to offer delivery directly.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, the features of Far East present a mixed picture. One reviewer who had visited the restaurant previously noted that it was "a little better the last time I been there a few years," suggesting some potential improvement over time, although still stopping short of being considered "great." This indicates a possibility of fluctuating quality or a perception of mediocrity. This same reviewer found the sesame chicken to be "bland with not much flavor" but considered the bell pepper beef to be "good." This suggests inconsistency in the quality and taste of different dishes on their menu.

In contrast, another customer had a significantly negative experience, advising others to "stay far away." This reviewer described the sesame chicken as "soggy," the beef as "leathery," and the fried rice as "dry and bland." They concluded that almost all the food was "inedible," managing to eat only the steak due to extreme hunger. This starkly contrasting review highlights potential issues with food preparation, texture, and overall taste, raising concerns about the consistency and quality control at Far East.

Considering these limited and somewhat contradictory reviews, it is challenging to definitively assess the overall quality and features of Far East. The fact that it is described as a "fine Chinese food court restaurant to get something quick to eat" by one reviewer suggests it might serve a basic need for a fast meal while shopping. However, the strong negative feedback regarding the edibility of several dishes should not be ignored by potential customers.

No information regarding promotional offers or specials at Far East is available in the provided reviews. Food court restaurants sometimes offer combo meals or discounts, but there is no mention of such at this time. To inquire about any current promotions or special deals, it would be necessary to visit the restaurant in person or contact them directly via the phone numbers provided.

In conclusion, Far East in the Leesburg Outlet offers a convenient option for shoppers seeking a quick Chinese meal. However, the limited customer reviews present a mixed and somewhat concerning picture regarding the food quality. While one reviewer found some improvement over past experiences and considered the bell pepper beef to be good, they also noted the blandness of the sesame chicken. Another reviewer reported a severely negative experience with multiple dishes being of poor quality and almost inedible. Potential customers should be aware of these contrasting opinions when considering dining at Far East. Given its food court location, the expectation should likely be for a quick and casual meal rather than a high-end dining experience. For those prioritizing taste and quality, it might be prudent to consider other dining options within or outside the Leesburg Outlet, or to inquire further about the current food standards at Far East before making a decision.

As a food court establishment, Far East likely experiences fluctuations in customer volume and may adjust its menu or offerings periodically. The lack of consistent positive feedback in the provided reviews suggests that while it might serve its purpose for a quick bite while shopping, the quality of the food may be inconsistent or not meet the expectations of all diners. Further investigation or more recent reviews might provide a clearer picture of the current state of the restaurant. If convenience is the primary factor, Far East offers a readily accessible option within the Leesburg Outlet. However, if food quality and taste are paramount, potential customers might want to proceed with caution or seek alternative choices.

It's an okay place to eat in the Leesburg Outlet. It is a little better the last time I been there a few years, but still not great. The sesame chicken I got was bland with not much flavor, but the bell pepper beef was good. It's a fine Chinese food court restaurant to get something quick to eat.

Far East: stay far away. Sesame chicken was soggy, beef was leathery, fried rice was dry and bland. Sadly it was all almost inedible for me. Managed to down the steak only because I was starving.

I got the seafood pho noodle bowl, and I’m sad to say that it didn’t taste well at all. Although the presentation looked nice, it had no flavor and felt like it has been in a pot for a long time - not fresh at all. Every part of it tasted bland. The shrimp was so squishy and the mussels had broken shell pieces floating around. I didn’t have a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Bought a vegetable dish along fried rice for the kids. The mushroom wasn’t properly washed and had black moss as well the mushrooms were old where we would throw away at home. Pathetic that they will serve this less than mediocre food that kids would consume. Avoid this place if you value your health.
