About Famous Wok
Located at 10600 Quil Ceda Blvd #381E, Tulalip, WA 98271, USA, **Famous Wok** is a Chinese restaurant offering a fast-food experience to patrons, primarily within a food court setting. It is easily accessible, making it a convenient option for those looking for a quick meal, especially while shopping at the nearby Seattle Premium Outlets. Famous Wok can be reached by phone at (360) 654-2788 or +1 360-654-2788.
As a food court establishment, the **environment** of Famous Wok is characterized by its casual and open nature. It lacks the traditional sit-down restaurant ambiance, instead offering a bustling, high-traffic setting typical of shopping center eateries. While not a destination for a quiet, intimate meal, its location is designed for efficiency and convenience, catering to shoppers and those on the go. The focus is on quick service and accessibility, with shared seating areas common to food courts. Some general reviews for Famous Wok locations broadly mention cleanliness, which is a positive attribute for a high-volume establishment.
The **services** at Famous Wok are primarily centered around providing quick, over-the-counter Chinese fast food. Customers approach a counter, select from pre-prepared or quickly-made dishes, and receive their meal for immediate consumption or take-away. This model prioritizes speed and efficiency, appealing to individuals seeking a rapid dining solution. It's a no-frills service where the transaction is straightforward. Based on the reviews, the service interaction can vary, but generally, the focus is on getting food to the customer promptly. Take-out is inherently integrated into their service model, as food court meals are often consumed elsewhere or taken home.
The **features** of Famous Wok's menu include a range of familiar Chinese American fast-food staples. Items typically found at such establishments include various chicken dishes like Orange Chicken, Bourbon Chicken, and BBQ Chicken, along with options like Beef Broccoli, Sweet and Sour Pork, Fried Rice, and Noodles. The concept often involves "make your own combos," where customers can select a base (like fried rice or noodles) and combine it with several entrée choices. This allows for customization and caters to individual preferences. The portion sizes are generally considered ample for a fast-food setting, often providing good value for the price.
However, customer feedback regarding the food quality at this specific Famous Wok location presents a mixed picture. While some general reviews for Famous Wok as a chain can be positive, specific reviews for this Tulalip location highlight areas for improvement. For instance, the **BBQ chicken** has been described as "dry and tasteless," with a call for "fresher food." The **wonton noodle soup**, priced at $16-18, was noted as feeling "steep for food court pricing" and not justifying the cost. Reviewers found the wontons themselves to be "huge, but the texture and flavor were mediocre (not as delicate or savory as you’d hope)." The broth was "just okay, nothing memorable," and the inclusion of **broccoli** was deemed "odd" and "not traditional in wonton noodle soup" by one reviewer, implying a deviation from expected authenticity. The **Sesame Mandarin Chicken** from a similar Famous Wok context also received criticism for lacking crispiness and having an "unpleasant, ketchup-like taste," making it "inedible." This feedback suggests that while the menu offers classic items, the execution and freshness can be inconsistent, impacting the overall dining experience for some.
Regarding **promotional information**, as a fast-food chain, Famous Wok typically relies on the convenience of its location within a high-traffic area, such as an outlet mall food court, to attract customers. The "make your own combo" options and generally reasonable pricing for the quantity of food offered can be seen as an inherent promotional strategy. While no specific limited-time offers or loyalty programs are detailed in the provided information for this particular location, the appeal lies in the accessibility and the promise of a quick, filling meal. For those in the Tulalip area seeking a rapid Chinese food option within a food court environment, Famous Wok provides a ready solution, though expectations for culinary excellence should be aligned with its fast-food category.

This is my second time eating here. I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll never eat here again. I’m throwing away what’s left of my meal because the chicken is dry and tasteless. They really need to learn how to serve fresher food. It can be done! I got bbq chicken
Famous Wok’s wonton noodle soup costs $16-18, which feels steep for food court pricing—especially when the quality doesn’t quite justify it. The wontons were huge, but the texture and flavor were mediocre (not as delicate or savory as you’d hope). The broth was **just okay**, nothing memorable, and the addition of **broccoli** felt odd (not traditional in wonton noodle soup and didn’t add anything). For this price, I expected a more authentic or refined version of the dish. If you’re craving wonton noodles, you might find better value elsewhere.
Cannot expect a good fast food in a food Court! Beef brisket noodle soup is average, meat is not tender! Fried chicken is not fried & too watery! No free water but need to purchase!
All the food looks old, and I’m eating right now, but the noodles are hard, the rice is too tough, and unless you’re starving to death right this moment, I wouldn’t recommend eating here.
I am extremely dissatisfied with both the quality of food and customer service at this wok. The food was subpar; particularly, the BBQ chicken had an odd taste, indicating it might not be fresh. Additionally, the service was appalling. I requested an extra plate to share food with a child, and was told it would cost $2 for an additional box. When I asked for more chopsticks, they charged 25 cents each. There were also no cups available for water. They charge unreasonable $$$ for everything. Such a horrible customer service, I would NEVER come again. Hope this store shut down.
