About Express Wok

Welcome to Express Wok, a Chinese Restaurant located at 2204 Kelly Blvd Apt 102, Carrollton, TX 75006, USA. Express Wok is described as a small "mom and pop" establishment offering Asian American cuisine, primarily for takeout.

You can contact Express Wok at (972) 418-8281 or via mobile at +1 972-418-8281 for inquiries or to place an order. Information regarding the restaurant's dine-in environment is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, suggesting a focus on takeout service.

One of the standout features highlighted by a customer is their egg foo young, which was described as "one of the best" they had ever had. This suggests that Express Wok may specialize in or excel at certain classic Asian American dishes. The restaurant is also noted for providing "great portions" at prices that are considered "reasonably priced," indicating good value for money.

However, other dishes received mixed feedback. One customer who ordered the pepper steak and fried rice found the fried rice to be "good" but lacking in flavor, suggesting it needed salt or MSG. The pepper steak was also described as "good," although the customer wished it had been cooked a bit longer. This indicates some variability in the preparation and taste of different menu items.

Another point of concern was raised regarding the egg rolls, which one reviewer noted "tasted like they were cooked in old oil." This suggests a potential inconsistency in the quality of ingredients or cooking methods for certain items.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific promotions or special offers at Express Wok. However, as a small, family-run restaurant, they are appreciated for their generous portions and reasonable pricing on their regular menu.

In summary, Express Wok in Carrollton, TX, is a small, family-operated Chinese restaurant known for its generous portions and reasonable prices. They are particularly praised for their egg foo young. However, reviews suggest that other dishes, such as the fried rice and pepper steak, may have inconsistencies in flavor and preparation, and there are concerns about the quality of the egg rolls. If you appreciate supporting local "mom and pop" establishments and are a fan of egg foo young, Express Wok might be worth trying, keeping in mind the mixed feedback on other menu items.

I got the pepper steak and fried rice. Fried rice was good but needed salt or some msg. It was missing something. The pepper steak was good. I wish it had been cooked a little longer. Prices are fair for what it is. The egg rolls tasted like they were cooked in old oil

I tried this place for the first time. This was the worst tasting chinese food I've ever had. I spent 44.00 for sesame chicken with thick breading and some fake fried rice, which is steamed rice with soy sauce to give it a brown look. The rice is over cooked. Spring taste like cooking oil and soggy. Please believe what you read on this one because the cook here needs a different profession.
