I don't know what the problem is but they overcook damn near everything and I do mean everything. About 8 out of every 10 times the shrimp is tough and chewy. I am never ordering the fried shrimp again because it was inedible. It was deep fried leather. The egg rolls are always a dark color and the inside is liquefied from the amount of heat they use.

Of all the Chinese take out spots in the area this has been my go to for the last 4 years. Orange chicken and a order of vegetable egg rolls is my usual and for less than $14. Good food and good service. I have zero complaints about this place.

Shrimp Fried Rice Egg Foo Young Chicken Wings The shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg foo young is SOLID. Best I've had. It's like hood Chinese without actually being in the hood (nor are the prices hood either, much to my chagrin). Coming from Chicago, the shrimp fried rice looks and tastes like back home. I love it. You get plenty of it too. And the Egg Foo Young is real close and delicious. The chicken wings, however, were dry and lacked flavor.

Best value in Houston $9.75 (as of August 2023) for a combo plate feeds 2 easy. The flavor could be better but you can't beat the value. I got the curry rice noodles and happy family combos.

After a few of my coworkers have tried this place pretty consistently I finally caved in. Well worth the hype! Huge variety of options. Good price points for a very generous amount of food. Definitely will be ordering more often.
