The food was good! Wish there was more sauce, though. Some things were dryer than we wanted, but the flavor was definitely there.

My order was rang up incorrectly due to an honest mistake. However, when I asked if I could still keep the additional meal they made -- the cashier implied that I would not get my $3 refund that was the difference for the wrong order. I chose the refund but I felt that gesture was very stingy and rubbed me the wrong way. Additionally, the quality of the food was not as good as I expected and some of the items on the menu did not have descriptions.

This place is the best in the area for Chinese food! The portion sizes are very generous, the quality of the food is excellent, and everything I've had here has been absolutely delicious, which is a wonderful surprise, especially given the reasonable prices. Big generous chunks of premium chicken in all their chicken dishes, and both the wonton soup and the scallion pancakes are utterly addictive. My personal favorite, though, is their beef lo mein. I've tried a couple other Chinese takeout places around here, but none of them have even come close to Empire and I find myself coming back once every week or two.

Foods has been great as well as the service. They do get busy on the weekends, but its worth waiting on. I try something different every time and no let downs so far. Will be back again.

I love this place... the dishes are really satisfying, the portions are big, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely my go-to Chinese restaurant in the Elkton area. I highly recommend trying out their scallion / onion pancakes and their wonton soup in particular, which are absolutely delicious. I'm so glad I stumbled across this place after moving here a few months ago... I've tried a couple other Chinese restaurants, but nothing comes anywhere close to Empire for me, and their online ordering system is so easy and convenient.
