About Empire

Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Harlem at 2419 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd, New York, NY 10030, USA, Empire stands as a local Chinese restaurant offering a range of familiar dishes. Operating under the category of "Chinese Restaurant," Empire aims to provide accessible Chinese cuisine to the surrounding community. For those looking to place an order or inquire about their offerings, they can be reached at (212) 862-5660 or +1 212-862-5660.

Based on available customer feedback, Empire presents a mixed experience. One local resident highlights the restaurant's convenient location, particularly for those residing nearby. This customer also notes that the food is "decent" and appreciates the "good service" received. Their routine involves calling in orders for pickup, suggesting that Empire caters to those seeking a quick and easy takeout option.

However, another customer's experience paints a different picture. Their order of chicken lo mein unfortunately resulted in a "soupy bowl of very bland chicken and no lo mein." This negative encounter led to the customer discarding the meal and expressing a lack of appeal, indicating potential inconsistencies in food preparation or quality control. It is important to consider this feedback alongside the positive remarks to gain a balanced understanding of what Empire might offer.

As a Chinese restaurant, Empire likely offers a menu featuring a variety of classic Chinese-American dishes. While specific menu details are not provided, one might expect to find staples such as fried rice, chow mein, various chicken, beef, and pork dishes, as well as soups and appetizers. Given the mention of chicken lo mein, noodle-based dishes are also likely part of their repertoire. Potential customers may want to inquire about their specific menu items, preparation methods, and any daily specials when placing an order.

In terms of services, the positive review indicates that Empire facilitates phone orders for pickup, catering to individuals who prefer to collect their food directly from the restaurant. The negative review does not specify the ordering method, but it implies that takeout or potentially delivery services are available. For local users, the convenience of placing a phone order and picking it up could be a significant advantage. It would be beneficial to confirm with the restaurant if they offer delivery services to the surrounding areas as well.

Regarding the ambiance and environment of the restaurant itself, the provided information does not offer any specific details. Without further descriptions or images, it is challenging to ascertain the decor, seating capacity, or overall atmosphere of Empire. I don't know how this place is rated 4 stars. Both orders of half chicken and wings were old chicken. If the chicken is old, throw it out to the garbage. Don't re fried it and send it out for delivery because the customers can't see the order till it gets here. You lose customers like that. Chinese restaurants need to stop doing that. I done dropped like 3 Chinese restaurants because of the same reason.
