About Emily's Bistro

Emily's Bistro, located at 318 N Dixie Fwy, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168, USA, offers a dining experience with live music and an eclectic menu. You can contact them at (386) 444-6822 or +1 386-444-6822.

Customer reviews for Emily's Bistro reveal significant concerns regarding both food quality and service. One reviewer described the inside as "cute" and the waitress as "very nice" but noted that the service became "very overwhelmed" when the restaurant got busy. They also mentioned that the food came out "one plate at a time," with one person in their party waiting 10 minutes after everyone else had received their food. They found the food "not anything special" and "overpriced for what you get." The payment process was also described as "arduous," with only one person able to pay at a time.

Furthermore, this reviewer reported that a pie they ordered was "FULL of alcohol," despite the waitress's initial denial. After another table confirmed the presence of alcohol, the waitress acknowledged it, but no replacement was offered, and they were still charged for the pie. The reviewer concluded that they would not return, expressing dissatisfaction with being served alcohol in the pie.

Another reviewer, who had "high hopes" for the bistro, also expressed disappointment. They mentioned that the restaurant was "out of too many menu items," forcing them to settle for something they did not want. They also suspected that the food was "prepared earlier and warmed up when ordered," which they found "not appealing and not hot." Despite these concerns, they appreciated the owner's vision and enjoyed the C&W music night. They hoped the owner would address the food quality and menu limitations to improve the dining experience.

In summary, Emily's Bistro offers a cute atmosphere and live music, but customer reviews indicate significant issues with service, food quality, and menu availability. Customers have reported slow and disorganized service, overpriced and underwhelming food, and limited menu options. The incident involving alcohol in the pie is also a serious concern. While the bistro's atmosphere and live music are appreciated, potential customers should be aware of the reported issues.

Cute place inside and waitress was very nice, but got very overwhelmed when the place got busy. There was live music tonight and all the tables were full. Menu is ok. Food came out one plate at a time, with one person at our table waiting 10 min for their food after everyone else had theirs. Food wasn't anything special and kind of an eclectic menu. Food is over priced for what you get. Even paying was arduous and only one person could pay at a time and we had to wait for waitress to go key in and come back to get next check. Ordered pie and it was FULL of alcohol and waitress said it wasn't. However another table also said they tasted it. So waitress checked and sure enough it had alcohol in it. Didn't offer to switch it out and we got charged for it. People are nice but I will not go back. Don't appreciate being served alcohol in pie!

Had high hopes for this place but not rushing back. Have been there 2x and like what the owner wants to do but the food should be the main attraction. Main issues- #1 - out of too many menu items. Sold out of my first, second and third choices and I settled for something I really did not want. #2 - food does not appear to be freshly prepared. It seems to be prepared earlier and warmed up when ordered. Not appealing and not hot. I hope the owner takes this review to make some changes because I would love to come back to EAT and enjoy the other things going on. Loved the C&W music night.

Amazing food, great atmosphere, lots of warmth from the staff. I fried the beef stew, was delicious, full of homemade food nostalgia. This restaurant is new, cozy, great prices, and you get to check out some items they have to sell that goes to a great dogs and cats cause. I loved it, and can't wait to comeback to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for making us feel like family.
