Now this is where you go for real diner food... I live in DC and you WILL NOT find something like anywhere close to there. Service was amazing, atmosphere was amazing, and the food was absolutely to die for. Huge portions, delicious, and fresh. 10/10. Will always come here when I visit from now on

Exactly what you think a small town diner should be, but better. Food is always cooked to perfection. Service is top-notch with waitresses that are attentive and treat you like family. I have been here several times and have never had a bad experience. My favorite place to stop when I'm in the area.

Another great visit to the here. Enjoyed the lamb gyro- one of the best I've had in a while, it came with fries and a cup of soup. Seems like you could get a different vegetable. Family enjoyed the pancakes and sausage. Would prefer no powdered sugar. Picture of gyro after one bite -They have grits! Everyone in my party was happy with their meal. Fast, kind service.

The food and service are always great at the Elmer Diner. I typically go for the country fried steak or the chicken croquettes. (The croquettes taste like old school Jersey diner croquettes, which are becoming rarer and rarer at local diners!) The dinner specials also come with soup and salad, which is nice. Highly recommended! ...I do wish they had some type of music playing in the background like they used to with Sirius XM 50'S on 5. The last time I was at the Elmer Diner, you could hear a pin drop.
