El Meson

Updating to 5 stars. I got a couple of very generous half trays from El Meson for my office holiday party. Izzy was really helpful with the order, everything was on time and as expected, and the food was absolutely obliterated by my team. He also understood when I asked about gluten/wheat - not everyone does. I've also been in person and it's been solid every time.

The servers are attentive. The atmosphere is cute. The food is ample but for me it's "ok" I'm expecting flavor and it lacked it.Make no mistake the portions are huge. I also have a personal pet peeve the use of Fabuloso while eating its just a very strong smell.

I personally have been dining at El meson for about three months now and I can tell you at this restaurant-hands down the BEST service I’ve ever had in freehold. I love the atmosphere the decor is unique and traditional and my favorite desert is the fried ice cream! The staff here go above and beyond for you they are fast and attentive. Izzy the manager is super friendly and accommodating. The service is better than el Agave here!

The food is okay but some of the pricing for what you get is ridiculous. 12 dollars for a little container of guacamole and 22 dollars for pretty much a children’s quesadilla that is literally just a tortilla chicken and cheese. That’s wild. Honestly I understand inflation but this is crazy.
