Based on recent customer reviews, experiences at Eatzy Chinese appear to be mixed and generally leaning towards underwhelming. One group of customers who visited for lunch tried the buffet, lollipop chicken, and mo mo dumplings. They reported that the initial plates from the buffet were cold, with subsequent plates being only slightly warmer. The lollipop chicken was described as being on the dry side. This customer indicated it was a "one and done spot" for them.
Another reviewer expressed significant disappointment with their first experience at Eatzy Chinese. They found the mango lassi to be runny and lacking in creamy, yogurt flavor, tasting more like watered-down mango juice. The food was described as lackluster and missing the vibrant, bold flavors typically expected from Chinese cuisine, with no strong aroma of fresh cooking. The atmosphere inside was also noted as strange, with no other customers present and only one server, giving it more of a takeout feel than a dine-in restaurant. This reviewer found the overall atmosphere uninviting and the food unimpressive, stating they would not be returning anytime soon.
Given the feedback, potential customers might want to consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to dine at Eatzy Chinese.

While in Queens with some Bangladeshi friends, they recommended we try this spot for lunch. Some of us chose the buffet others the lollipop chicken and some mo mo dumplings. The first plates from the buffet were cold, the second plates a little bit warmer. The lollipop chicken was kind of on the dry side. Another one and done spot. Had better Bangladeshi food in the Bronx near me.
Mediocre at best for a Chinese or fusion place. I was really excited to try Eatzy Chinese with my family for the first time in Jackson Heights, but unfortunately, my experience was completely underwhelming at best. First off, the mango lassi was a disappointment—runny and lacking the creamy, yogurt-rich flavor I was expecting. It tasted more like a watered-down mango juice. As for the food, it just didn’t hit the mark. The dishes were lackluster and didn’t have the vibrant, bold flavors you typically expect from Chinese cuisine. Honestly, it felt like something was missing—no strong aroma of fresh cooking, no excitement in the dishes. The whole vibe inside was strange too; there were no other customers eating there, and only one server was attending to everything. It almost felt more like a takeout spot than a restaurant where you could settle in and enjoy a meal. Overall, the atmosphere was pretty uninviting, and the food didn’t impress at all. Definitely won’t be coming back anytime soon👎🏾
I'm trying to be generous with ratting. Went there for their $15 buffet. In terms of taste, those were some of the worst-tasting foods I've tried in a long time. The chicken might look good but didn't taste well. The restaurant was nice and clean and the service was okay, but disappointed by the taste of the food. Not planning to go back anytime soon.
Called ahead for a large group (including very hungry teenage boys) and they were super accommodating. Awesome food that comes in a way where sharing/family style eating is super easy. Fast service with very nice people, especially with our large group of people that wanted to customize dishes and make them extra extra spicy. The verdict from our Texas group was “Best food in New York”!
0 star.. I made a reservation for Saturday 3/29 for 6:45 PM. I called 2 days before on Thursday 3/27 to make the reservation and the staff charged me $21.78 just to reserve a table. I was ok with that and paid the reservation fee. On Saturday on 6:30 pm, I showed up at the restaurant for my reservation and they couldn’t locate my table. I told them I called 2 days prior, paid the fee and did my reservation. Even showed them the credit card charge from their restaurant. Staff said all tables were reserved but they couldn’t find my table. I was pissed, to say the least, as it was the last day of Ramadan and we were all fasting. But we were willing to be gracious as long as we could have our table. Staff made us stand in the front for 10 min and hid in the back saying he’ll see what he can do. After standing for a while, we just took the reservation fee refund and left. This level of unprofessionalism is astounding… Obviously never returning here again.. PLEASE AVOID..
