Eastern Garden

Just left Eastern Garden - we live too far away for takeout so we stayed and ate in at one of the casual tables inside. The food was DELICIOUS!!! We ordered the following: Crab Rangoon appetizer - super yummy! A little different than usual because the filling was extra creamy but we enjoyed them very much. Szechuan chicken combo - came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken had a good amount of heat, but if you prefer *really* spicy you can ask for that. The flavor was excellent and I liked the level of heat that was on mine. I was prepared to add hot sauce and didn’t have to. The egg roll was huge, too. Not one of those tiny ones. The portion was huge for the price and we have leftovers. House Lo Mein - had pork, shrimp, and chicken. The noodles were perfect as you would expect for that dish. Flavor was great. The large size will definitely feed two people. So we have leftovers of this as well. Everything was extremely fresh. This is hands down the best NY-style Chinese takeaway place in Oviedo! Can’t wait to go back and try some additional things. The staff there this evening (perhaps owners) were also very lovely. Giving this a definite 5-Stars for the restaurant category they are in!!

I use to come here before new management for the boneless spare ribs, which were amazing... since new management, I've been excited to try new meals, and they haven't disappointed! Love the pork eggrolls, boneless spare ribs, roast pork lo-mein, mongolian chicken, and beef and broccoli! The flavors are everything you are looking for! Definitely reminds me of NY style Chinese spots! Excited to continue to rediscover their menu items! Also, love that their lunch portion is huge! Just makes me want to order more food!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch of chicken cashew nut and general Tsao chicken. The chicken in both meals was tender and the vegetables were crisp and perfectly cooked. We had combo plates that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. Everything was delicious and the portions were large. We will be back!

Just tried this place for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised. I ordered online and had several special requests. There is a place to type in requests on each food choice and they did each one spot on. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. There were four of us and each one liked their dinner ;Tofu with vegetables, bourbon chicken, chicken lo mein and orange chicken --egg roll and spring roll were good as well tasted like they were made on site instead of the usual frozen type egg rolls. Portions were good sized.

This Chinese take-out is truly a hidden gem. If you can find it, you will be pleasantly surprised. For one, the egg rolls are are twice the of our former haunt at the same price. We have been there three times so far and the food each time has been excellent.
