About East Wind Snack Shop

East Wind Snack Shop is a Chinese restaurant located at 417 7th Ave in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. As a local establishment within the Chinese restaurant category, it aims to provide Chinese cuisine to the community. Based on recent online customer reviews, experiences appear to be divided, with one customer praising the speed and taste for a quick bite, while another found their takeout order to be mediocre and not worth the money.

Information regarding the environment of East Wind Snack Shop is limited. One reviewer mentioned grabbing a "quick bite" before attending a show, suggesting that the restaurant might be geared towards fast service and perhaps a casual atmosphere suitable for a quick meal. However, this does not provide a comprehensive picture of the ambiance, décor, or seating arrangements. The other reviewer only had takeout, so they did not comment on the dine-in environment. Without further information, it is challenging to describe the restaurant's physical setting in detail.

The services offered by East Wind Snack Shop include at least takeout, as explicitly mentioned by one reviewer. The other reviewer dined at the restaurant for a quick meal, indicating that dine-in service is also available. It is common for Chinese restaurants to offer both options to cater to different customer needs. Delivery service is not mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users interested in delivery should contact East Wind Snack Shop directly to inquire about its availability and any associated delivery areas or fees.

The features of East Wind Snack Shop, particularly its food, have elicited contrasting opinions in the available reviews. One customer who dined in found the food to be "very delicious" and appreciated the speed of service, noting it was the "right amount of food and the right amount of time" for their needs before an event. They also mentioned that the food was "HEAT HOT but delicious" and seemed to be made fresh. This positive experience highlights the potential for tasty, freshly prepared meals served efficiently for those looking for a quick bite.

However, the other reviewer who had a takeout order of Shanghai belly noodles had a significantly negative experience. They found the meal to be "very mediocre" and not worth the money, expressing disappointment despite having higher expectations based on other reviews they might have seen elsewhere. A specific issue they noted was that the noodles were "completely stuck together as one noodle blob," indicating a problem with the preparation or handling of this dish. They also mentioned arriving earlier than the quoted pickup time (by 15 minutes) but felt that the food seemed to have been sitting for a while, further contributing to their negative assessment of the quality.

The menu at East Wind Snack Shop can be inferred to include at least Shanghai belly noodles, a dish that one customer ordered. The other reviewer's positive comments about the "HEAT HOT" nature of their meal suggest that they might offer dishes with a spicy kick, and the fact that it was made fresh implies a focus on preparing food to order. Without a full menu, it is difficult to ascertain the variety and types of Chinese cuisine offered at East Wind Snack Shop.

Promotional information for East Wind Snack Shop is not included in the provided reviews. It is unknown whether the restaurant offers any lunch specials, combination deals, or other promotions to attract customers. Many Chinese restaurants do provide such offers. Local users interested in potential discounts or special deals should contact East Wind Snack Shop directly at (929) 295-0188 or +1 929-295-0188 to inquire about any current promotions.

For local users in Park Slope, Brooklyn, considering East Wind Snack Shop, the available reviews present a mixed picture. One customer had a positive experience with a quick dine-in meal that was fresh and delicious. This suggests that the restaurant might be a good option for those looking for a fast and tasty bite to eat. However, another customer's experience with a takeout order was quite negative, citing mediocre quality, poorly prepared noodles, and a sense that the food had been sitting for some time, all for a price they felt was not justified.

The stark contrast between these two recent experiences indicates a potential inconsistency in the quality of food or service at East Wind Snack Shop, or perhaps a difference in the experience between dine-in and takeout orders. Potential customers might want to consider these differing viewpoints when making their decision. Those looking for a quick meal before an event might find the positive dine-in review encouraging, while those planning to order takeout, particularly the Shanghai belly noodles, might be more cautious based on the negative feedback.

It would be beneficial for local residents to consider these recent reviews alongside any other available feedback to get a broader sense of the typical customer experience at East Wind Snack Shop. The limited number of reviews makes it challenging to draw definitive conclusions about the overall quality and reliability of this Chinese restaurant.

In conclusion, East Wind Snack Shop in Brooklyn, NY, is a Chinese restaurant offering both dine-in and takeout services. One customer praised their quick and delicious dine-in experience, while another found their takeout order of Shanghai belly noodles to be mediocre, poorly prepared, and overpriced. No promotional information is available in the provided reviews. Local users should consider these contrasting experiences when deciding whether to patronize East Wind Snack Shop and might want to seek additional reviews for a more comprehensive understanding of what to expect.

We wanted to grab a quick bite before my wife had to go to a show in the city for work and I needed to make my way back home. It was the right amount of food and the right amount of time! It was also all very delicious! HEAT HOT but delicious as they are made fresh.

Only had takeout but very mediocre. Thought it would be better based on the reviews but I wouldn’t consider returning. The noodles were completely stuck together as one noodle blob. I even arrived to pickup earlier than 15 mins and it seems like to sat for awhile. Not worth the money. I had the Shanghai belly noodles.

Can’t wait to come back to this area! This will be my go to spot for a quick bite. The food was very delicious and fresh The portion size were really good. Ribs were fire and you get a nice amount. Pork dumplings were ok and the cucumbers salad was really good. I love a short menu with not too many items. Makes making a decisions that much easier. Now I feel like I can go back and actually try everything on the menu!

Really excellent dumplings and buns. Food is high quality and service is quick. Perfect to take as a to-go snack to prospect park. Will definitely be back to try their dry aged beef dumplings.

I don’t know what happened to this place, like seriously. I went in today running off of nostalgia more than anything. I don’t mind paying $10 for 6 dumplings to support a local business. But it taste horrible. I ate two then just threw it away. The pork and chive just taste old and I’d seriously just give this to my dog. Can we fix this yall??
