Based on recent customer reviews, a standout dish is the kimchi with spicy pork and rice, which has been noted for its delicious taste and generous portion size relative to its price. Neat restaurant Kindest owner Soooooo tasty! Cheap price Do you need more?
To start, I had no clue this place opened up recently! I originally thought it's been closed for four years, but it reopened under a new owner I think. This menu is entirely Korean based food, unlike the fusion I've seen in older menus. I got kimchi + spicy pork + rice and it was delicious for the most part. The price and portion is great for the area. The spicy pork was actually spicy and pretty strong while the kimchi was fermented and strong but savory. My only complaint was that the rice was a little stale. They provide self-service kiosks and have very hospitable workers. The atmosphere is also very chill but gets full quick during lunch times.
First, I couldn't pay cash, had to go back to hotel to get my credit card. Then, I ordered two dishes, spicy pork and bibimbop. I needed to eat some vegetables and bibimbop was advised to contain shitake mushrooms, zuchini, carrots, bean sprouts and spinach, in addition to rice and egg. What I got was rice, egg, carrots and noodles instead vegetables, the same noodles I had as side dish with pork. And, if everything else was like my spicy pork, I would mark everything five stars because spicy pork was extremely delicious and one of the best I had in my life. But, you can't lie to your customers and serve them something they did not order. That's why I gave one star for service and atmosphere and five stars for the food, but I would definitely not return to the place where I was cheated.
Service was incredible. The Bingsu was so good that my friends and I came back TWICE in the same hour to order more. 1000% a must when visiting Atlanta.
This restaurant recently reopened as a Korean street food restaurant, and I am so glad that it did. It is the most authentic Korean I’ve tried south of Doraville and definitely the best in the downtown area. The menu boasts a variety of tasty, traditional Korean food items that remind you of umma’s cooking, including customizable combos, which I personally have really enjoyed. The portions are generous, pricing is very reasonable, the service is friendly and quick, and the vibes are chill if you’re planning to sit down for a meal. I’ve seen many Korean-speaking Koreans come through for lunch and that in itself speaks to the authenticity of this place. It’s encouraging to see a Korean establishment in downtown ATL that actually does its food right and represents Korean cuisine well. Definitely make it a point to check out this spot and you won’t be disappointed.
