Customer reviews for East Pacific present a wide range of experiences. One customer shared a very positive review, stating that it has become their special occasion dinner date spot. They highly praised the lemongrass pork chops for their flavor and generous portion size, recommending a combination of the pork chop with the sauce, white rice, and mango salad. They also enjoyed the crab meat money bags and highlighted the overall quality of the food.

However, another customer had a significantly negative experience during a birthday celebration. They expressed strong dissatisfaction with their order of King Crab, claiming that they did not receive the quantity they paid for and suggesting that kitchen staff may have taken some of the crab. They also criticized the Typhoon Shelter Crab for being mostly flour with little meat and described the Fried River Snails as smelling strongly of decay. Despite acknowledging that the waiter was nice and attentive, they deemed the overall experience horrible and a waste of money.

In summary, East Pacific appears to have dishes that some customers find delicious and of high quality, with good service. However, there are also serious concerns raised by other customers regarding portion sizes, value for money, freshness of ingredients, and accuracy of orders, particularly for large group celebrations. Potential patrons should be aware of these contrasting experiences when considering dining at East Pacific.

My boyfriend’s family had been coming here for years before he took me here for a date. Now, it’s our special occasion dinner date! Last night we celebrated our anniversary with their delicious lemongrass pork chops. The portion of one dish is enough to feed us both for a wonderful price as well. I’m not a fan of pork chops, but East Pacific changed my mind because of the flavor. The quality of their food is unmatched. You HAVE to have a combo of the sauce, pork chop, white rice, and mango salad. The sauce is packed with flavor and the mango salad is refreshing. We also got an appetizer, the crab meat money bags as it’s called on the menu, and they are also carefully crafted with high quality flavor. Dinner is always a big hit and we can’t wait to go back. I’m excited to try their duck next time!

DO NOT go to this restaurant for any celebration EVER! My family and I made the reservation for my mother’s 62nd birthday last night. We ordered 10 lbs of King Crab along with 10 other dishes. First of all, the King Crab supposed to have in total 56 pieces of crab meat in shell, one king crab legs got divided into 7 little pieces, 8 legs X 7 pieces =56, as you can see in photo(that’s the photo I took right when they served, no one touched the plate yet), there isn’t close to 50 pieces, approximately 40 pieces I would say. I paid for my meals, was I not supposed to get what I paid for? If any of the kitchen staff they want a taste of King Crab, pay for it ON YOUR OWN, please! NOT stealing your customers food and make them your dinner, that’s unacceptable and rude. Second of all, Typhoon Shelter Crab( 2nd photo i posted), mostly all flour, barely any meat, I just want to say, did I pay for 10lbs of King Crab or 5lbs? Because i literally DID NOT get what I paid for and my family were still hungry from the $1000 meal last night. We celebrated our mother’s birthday once a year and King Crab was always in our list, last year, we went to a different restaurant in Brooklyn, we actually had tons of left over to bring home for next day, this year there wasn’t any leftovers, we barely have enough to split between 5 adults. Lastly, we also ordered Fried River Snails, as soon as they arrived on our dinner table, they smelled bad, real bad, so strong that after we complained and they brought them back to the kitchen that smell was still stayed on our table for few minutes long. I was very disappointed, I saw the decent reviews and thought it was only 10 mins away from our house, saved us some hassle, let’s try it. Instead, it was a horrible experience and a waste of money. Overall, I have to say, food was awful, the kitchen staff was/were a thief/ thieves, but our waiter was nice and it wasn’t his fault that their food wasn’t fresh and unreasonably, we still gave him 20% tip plus $40 tip extra, because we thought that’s fair. Hope East Pacific will manage your restaurant better or you will lose more customers besides us, our friends and families!

Best Chinese we had in Staten Island. Extremely attentive and friendly service. 3 dishes we ordered were nicely served with excellent taste. Restaurant was packed with people for Father’s Day. Only thing that was a bit disappointed was the green tea cups had lipstick marks on them which they replaced with clean ones immediately.

Marathon weekend came for for Dim sum with the family ordered congee with pork. We don’t mind the wait but at least check if the pork is cooked fully pls. Very disorganized when it is busy and clearly no one is checking the food when it comes out.
