East Garden Chinese Restaurant

We had a wonderful experience at East Garden while celebrating a family birthday. The food was exceptional—flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We especially enjoyed the generous portions and the variety of dishes, from savory stir-fries to tender dim sum. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our celebration.

East Garden is so so good! We have been wanting to try this place for a long time and after trying many other authentic Chinese restaurants in the Orlando area, this is easily one of the best! This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant I’ve been to in Orlando where I can say we received exceptional service - with a great atmosphere and the awesome service, this would be a perfect place for a date or special occasion if you’re craving real Chinese food and dim sum! We took a lot of recommendations from our waitress, including fried shrimp balls, shrimp stuffed eggplant, shredded beef w/ black pepper, salt and pepper shrimp, and roast pork rice paste. Everything was excellent! The food came out in a timely manner, everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were so good. We especially loved the salt and pepper shrimp and roast pork rice paste! We can definitely see more shrimp and pork dishes being even better than the ones we got. We need to come back a LOT more to try many more things from their menu - they have a big menu, so many amazing options, so be sure to come with a bigger group so you can try a lot of different stuff. They specialize in the dim sum so get some of those to share! And also don’t forget to use a little of their chili sauce to add some spice to dishes - it makes them even better! Awesome service, awesome food, and an awesome place all around!

Being from New York City and getting some decent authentic Chinese food in Orlando is a search. But this place is very legit in food preparation and taste! I would not think I am in the outskirts of Orlando. Honey Walnut Shrimp, Shrimp and Eggs and Lobster HK style was all very tasty and you will not be disappointed. Was crunch on time and the food came out quick. Will definitely be coming back here when I am back in town.

After years of living in the Orlando area, I've finally found excellent Peking duck. Not to mention great dim sum. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If going on a weekend, be prepared to wait for a table. It's worth it.

Overall I loved my experience at East Garden. The service was very quick. Our server was very attentive and nice. We waited about 5 minutes before we got our first order. Only one of my orders was missing but it was brought out promptly when I asked. There was a variety of dim sum. The green onion pancakes were excellent. They came out hot and fresh and were crispy. The dumpling sauce that came with the order paired well with it. I tried the shrimp paste and eggplant for the first time and I will say it is very oily but delicious. Most of the other shrimp dim sum items were fresh and had a lot of filling. The fried shrimp balls had a lot of shrimp and came out very fresh. I would definitely recommend checking East garden out if you’re in the area. My friend and I found it on a whim after craving it
