About East China Inn

East China Inn is located at 2S743 Illinois Rte 59, Warrenville, IL 60555. You can contact them at (630) 836-9600 or +1 630-836-9600.

Based on customer reviews, East China Inn's reputation has changed over time. While it was previously known for its excellent food, recent experiences suggest that the quality has declined, with customers describing the food as "just OK."

Customers have noted inconsistencies in orders, such as missing items like egg rolls from lunch specials. The fried rice has also received mixed reviews.

A significant concern raised by patrons is the pricing, which is considered to be overpriced relative to the portion sizes. One customer reported receiving a "tiny" portion of the General Tao Combination, comparing it to a kid's meal, despite the good taste. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is described as having few customers dining in.

While the service is generally considered adequate, the overall dining experience is affected by the perceived high prices and smaller-than-expected portions.

In summary, East China Inn offers decent-tasting Chinese food, but customers should be aware of potentially high prices and smaller portion sizes. The restaurant's quality has declined from previous years, and order accuracy can be an issue.

Unfortunately, this restaurant isn’t what it used to be. We used to go to East China Inn either at this location or the one in Batavia and the food was amazing. Unfortunately, now the food is just OK. Very little people ….we decided on the sweet-and-sour chicken lunch special, this includes the chicken, white rice, and soup. It was one dollar extra for the eggroll, but I never even got it. The fried rice was also just OK.

The food is good and the service is what should be expected. Issue is that it is way overpriced. Got the General Tao Combination for $14. The portion size was TINY. Looks more like a kids portion. Good taste though.

When you buy a lunch to go. The price must contain an innovation fee on the box. Your lunch box will have three slots, 1/3 of it is air, 1/3 of it is rice, and half-filled meats sits the remaining 1/3 of the box. The price stays high but the quantity drops to the pit. Meats are so few that can't even enough to taste the quality. Great job on cutting the cost

This place is Amazing! My favorite Chinese restaurant! The appetizer are a nice size and great value. The staff is super friendly and happy. The restaurant was very clean and they had a lot of takeout orders as well. The beef was very good quantity. I highly recommend this for dinner with the family.

Convenient location does nothing when the food is terrible. The Rangoon were soggy, not crispy, and tasted nothing like crab. Not even sure what it was till all other food out of the bags. Egg drop soup was ok. The lemon chicken was mostly breading, the egg rolls ok but soggy and not hot. Less than one mile from daughter, so we tried it . Will never return. Spent about $75, and tossed most of it in the trash. Save your money.
