About East Buffet

Welcome to East Buffet, your local Chinese Restaurant located at 2104 N Frazier St Suite 160, Conroe, TX 77301, USA. As a Chinese Restaurant, East Buffet provides a buffet-style dining experience with a range of Chinese-American dishes, as well as sushi and other offerings. You can reach them at (936) 760-1007 or via mobile at +1 936-760-1007.

East Buffet offers a lunch buffet, with a recent price reported at $13.59 per person. While they have a sign mentioning a 10% discount for a "5+" rating, one customer noted receiving the discount simply for mentioning they would leave a review, regardless of its content. The waitresses are acknowledged for their promptness in refilling drinks and clearing finished plates, contributing to an efficient dining experience.

A highlight for some customers is the sushi, which is described as tasting "really good," even though the selection might be smaller compared to other buffets. However, the quality of the sushi available is noted to be better than many others. Another unique feature is the crab cheese Rangoon, which has a sweeter filling that some found to be more like a dessert, and this same filling appears to be used in their stuffed mushrooms.

For dessert, East Buffet offers a working soft serve machine with a raspberry sauce option for a unique touch. Customers have enjoyed a variety of dishes including sushi, chicken, shrimp, and seafood, noting that they all tasted great. For two adults visiting on a Tuesday, the cost was around $33 before tax. East Buffet provides a diverse selection and a convenient option for those looking for a Chinese buffet experience in Conroe.

We paid $13.59/person for the lunch buffet. They did not have prices posted but as the last menu picture 7 months ago was $12.99 the $0.50 increase was within expectations. They also have a sign on their door about getting 10% off for rating them "5+" which makes me question the validity of some of their reviews. That said, I told them I was leaving a review and they gave us the discount without asking What my review was so there is that. The waitresses were very prompt on drink refills and removing plates. The sushi tasted really good. Though the selection was lacking compared to many buffets, I would say what they did have was better than many others. The crab cheese Rangoons have a different filling. It was sweeter than regular cream cheese and made it taste like more of a dessert. It seemed to be the same filling as the stuffed mushrooms. The soft serve machine worked and they had raspberry sauce to put on it for a unique touch.

Delicious, fresh food. Friendly and attentive service. First, this place is slightly smaller and older than the KIOKU buffet that is just 5 minutes away, but still holds its own. The food was fresh, and was refilled and maintained often. We went for lunch and the turnover of people and food was still very good. Price for the value I would say is pretty good. Sushi was fresh and kept cold. Warm food was a good temperature. There were enough options for little kids. 2 and under eat free. Bathrooms were also super clean - always a plus. Overall, I think we prefer KIOKU, but would still eat here for a change. The food in both places is pretty similar, just a smaller selection here. Well done, keep it up.

We tried this place out for the 1st time. We love Chinese buffets so we drove 35 mins to give it a go. We went for their all u can eat crab legs. They had lots to choose from. The fried fish was good and they have several options for shrimps to choose from. I liked everything I tried. The only thing that was not that good was the beef and broccoli. It did not look appetizing. For sure, the hot and sour soup was 1 of the best I have ever had. It was soooo good!! The place was clean and well kept. The service was not bad, certainly not the best. The hostess was a bit lost. I definitely recommend this spot.
