East Bamboo

Been coming here for years and always enjoyed it. However, since new ownership a few years ago things have been inconsistent. Have given it a few chances to see how things go and if they improve. But even basic boneless ribs which was always great here, are now hit or miss, sometimes only getting burnt little pieces of ends. There were always a few ends mixed in with mainly strips of pork rib. Hope management can correct this.

Walked from hotel. Ordered Chicken kunpow with peanuts. A med spicy dish, large order. And an egg roll. Large order was very large, rice in separate container. Really enjoyed it, just enough spice, peanuts added a nice crunch. I will definitely go back again.

Excellent neighborhood takeout Chinese. You can sit there to eat if you want. There are a few tables. Service is great. I particularly recommend their spare ribs because they are very meaty

I've been taking out food from East Bamboo for many years. Unfortunately I was in the hospital & rehab for most of 2023 but, as soon as I came home I got take out & the food is still delicious. My favorites are Wonton Soup, Shrimp w/Lobster Sauce and Beef and Broccoli. My family was down from Rochester & they loved the food!

The food at East Bamboo is good. It's mainly a take out place. Thier pork fried rice is especially good. We've tried many differant dishes there and rarely been disappointed. They do have an off day from time to time. The service is ok, they speak with a very heavy accent and they speak really, really fast, so you really have to listen closely. They do deliver, but it's hit or miss on thier timing, sometimes they're close to the time they say and sometimes they're way off and you get semi warm food.
