3 things you must order here: baked pork buns, shrimp dumplings, and ginger scallion lobsters. The pork buns are puffy, the shrimp dumplings and lobsters are super fresh. Best thing overall is very little oil and very low msg (or none), much different than all the other Chinatown restaurants.
Came here unplanned for dinner with a large group and it was great. Having had great Chinese food in China, East Asia, and California, this made our whole party very happy and satisfied. Would definitely come again.
Overall, I'd rate my experience here an 8/10. The restaurant was somewhat busy when we arrived, so we ended up waiting about 15-20 minutes before a server came to our table. We ordered a variety of dishes: spring rolls, soup dumplings, chicken claw in black bean sauce, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves, and items T28, T30, and T49. Most of the dishes were delicious—the flavors were enjoyable, and we had a great time. The chicken claw was okay but didn't quite meet my expectations. I specifically chose this restaurant to try it because I had tasted something similar in New York. Unfortunately, this version was overly sweet for my taste and lacked the depth of flavor I'd experienced before. Item T28 was the least popular dish at our table; none of us particularly enjoyed it. The sauce on the rice noodles just wasn't appealing to our taste buds. Lastly, we ordered the cute piggy bun, which we intended to enjoy during the meal, but our server initially forgot to bring it out. We noticed we had been charged for it after paying the bill, so we reminded the server. We waited an additional five minutes to receive it and ended up taking it home. My friends liked the piggy bun, but personally, I wasn't a fan of the red bean paste filling. Despite a few small misses, our overall experience was positive, and I'd definitely return to explore other menu items.
Came here for dim sum, and I enjoyed it overall! The dim sum pieces were quite large and hot. We got a variety of dumplings, congee, turnip cakes, the red bean minion bun, etc. The shrimp in the dumplings were yummy and tender. My fave was this chive pan fried dumpling! My least faves were the quail egg dumpling (the quail egg was hard) and the minion bun (not much red bean filling inside).
“Absolutely fantastic experience! The dim sum here is authentic, fresh, and packed with flavor. Each dish is served piping hot, from the juicy soup dumplings to the perfectly crispy spring rolls. The variety on the menu is impressive, and the quality is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re craving classic fried rice or want to explore traditional dim sum dishes, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true taste of Chinese cuisine!”
