Standout dishes mentioned include the "beef pancakes" and the "surprisingly well done pecking duck," indicating a breadth of culinary skill and a willingness to offer both classic and perhaps more unexpected Chinese dishes. 10 of us arrived right at opening and we had an absolute blast seeing what dishes Dumpling the Noodle had to offer. Every dish was a banger from the beef pancakes to the surprisingly well done pecking duck. Do not over order here! The portions are generous and surprised us. We each went home with another meal's worth of leftovers.
Genuinely wasn’t prepared to have my socks absolutely blown off by how good this place was. The atmosphere is super fun, very intimate. But the food? Goodness gracious, what a treat. Every item was delicious, made with love and was so delectable, I’m still thinking about it the next day. The chili oil was so good, I wanted to drink it straight, the dumplings and noodles were so delicious, I found myself scraping the bowl. As a long time foodie, it’s rare to be blown away and find a new favorite place to eat, but I’m already planning my next trip back! As a vegan, this place has a very clear menu and the mock duck was so good, I almost had to double check it wasn’t real meat!
Food was good, with many vegetarian options! Service was fast a friendly. Everything came out fast and the portions were huge. My husband liked his beef noodles and I enjoyed my mock duck noodle. The noodles were a bit soft and overcooked but we can look past that. I didn’t get the try the bao buns but my husband said they were excellent. Will be back to try their other dishes! The ambiance is nice and if you sit next to the window you can people watch. :))
First, make a reservation, this place gets busy! Second, grab your order sheet and order! Third, eat and enjoy! Fourth, repeat! Excellent food. We loved all of the dumplings vegan, pork, shrimp and veggie. Green beans were delicious, well seasoned. Group of six, all full and happy! Great experience here 4/2/25..
Certainly a very good find. One of better Chinese restaurants, although I must admit that I haven't been to many Chinese places. However I do know that you must always always try their sweet/sour cucumber. And I did that here too - so good. The best cucumber fish I ever tried. The Garlic String Beans were flavorful too. Loved our appetizers. The corn chicken dumplings were somewhat bland but I am sure that is how it is supposed to be. But I liked it because of the salt and light seasoning. The Rice Garlic Tofu soup bowl felt super nutritious, good veggie broth and had a decent flavor profile. The service is reasonably quick and ambience is above average but nothing that blows your mind. However one thing that I felt was the staff was not very communicative because of language barrier. I wanted to understand if rice tofu noodles I got was glutten free. I am pretty sure it was but the waiter kept saying no. I tried asking what exactly is not gluten free in this recipe to which he kept saying soy sauce without fully understanding what we were trying to ask. But I can overlook that aspect and I don't blame them.Food was really good and I will definitely visit this place again.
