Dumpling Kitchen (Mattapan)

Ordered for two a combo dinner of house fried rice, chicken wings, chicken fingers, and boneless spareribs. Received what was more like white rice with only shrimp (no beef, chicken, ham or pork), so that was a bit of a bummer. But no big complaints about the chicken, and I will say the spare ribs were really good. I'm about 2 miles away but the food showed up within 20 minutes and was hot and fresh.

We did take out tonight. I called in the order and it was ready in 20 minutes as promised. We had the pan fried dumplings excellent, pork fried rice, very good, pork lo mein ,very good ,steamed vegetables good. Overall a decent place very clean, we will be back. The portions were generous and fairly priced.

I recently tried Dumpling Kitchen for the first time and ordered various dishes, including house-fried rice, fried pork chops, orange chicken, and dumplings. I was very pleased with the experience. The flavors of each dish were well-executed and enjoyable.

This newly opened dumpling store has given me a great surprise! The dumplings have rich and diverse flavors. Each one has a thin skin and a large filling, and the taste is superb.

Beware. Ordered tonight from Doordash. First of all, the ETA was abnormally long - 47-62 minutes. But I did it anyway. The restaurant took so long to prepare the order that the Dasher arrived around 40 min after I placed the order and I noticed they sat there waiting for the restaurant to prepare the order for 15 minutes. I ordered 3 things - beef noodle soup, a small hot and sour soup, and shredded pork in garlic sauce. What could possibly take 55 min to cook and still not be ready? The Dasher got fed up and left, and the ETA jumped to a massive 2 hrs after I placed the order. I ended up calling door dash and cancelling the order about an hour after placing it - when I was originally supposed to receive my food. As of the time of cancellation, Doordash was still trying to assign a new Dasher to the order. And it's not as if I didn't put a tip on the order either. What a waste of an hour, and now I have no food coming. How could it take an hour and they still didn't have 3 simple menu items ready? It wasn't that they somehow didn't receive the order. I know they received my order because they called me to acknowledge it when I placed it and to inform me the shredded pork dish did not come with rice. I understand the restaurant is new and may have some kinks to work out, but this is unacceptable.
