About Dumpling Factory

Dumpling Factory is a Chinese Restaurant located at 950 West Marietta St NW A130, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA. They can be contacted at (404) 941-9352 or +1 404-941-9352.

Based on customer reviews, the experience at Dumpling Factory appears to be varied. One customer had a positive first impression, praising the steamed dumplings and shrimp fried rice as "awesome." They also highlighted the amazing customer service, mentioning a sweet cashier who offered a sample of a new dish. This suggests a potential for friendly and thoughtful service.

However, another customer expressed significant disappointment. While noting the restaurant's location in a new and modern plaza with ample parking in West Midtown, they found the plaza itself to be somewhat desolate. Their main critique focused on the food, describing all three dishes ordered (Dan Dan noodle, pork and chive dumpling) as bland and lacking flavor. The Dan Dan noodle was noted as simply cold noodles with cucumber, and the pork and chive dumplings were described as not fresh with a weird taste and smell.

Regarding the environment and services, the latter reviewer mentioned that the vibe inside the restaurant felt like a takeout establishment with counter service, rather than a dine-in experience. They also observed that the majority of the business seemed to be through delivery companies. This suggests that Dumpling Factory may primarily cater to takeout and delivery orders.

In summary, Dumpling Factory, while located in a modern area with parking, has received mixed reviews regarding its food quality. Some customers have enjoyed specific dishes and the customer service, while others have found the food bland and not fresh. The restaurant's atmosphere appears to be more geared towards takeout and delivery. No specific promotional information was mentioned in the provided reviews.

I tried this place for the first time today. It was awesome! I loved the steamed dumplings & shrimp fried rice. The customer service was amazing. The cashier was so sweet. While I sat to wait on my food, she brought me a small taste of a dish that she shared her sister was teaching her to make. I really appreciated the gesture & it was delicious! Will definitely be back!!

I really really wanted to love this place. It’s located in the heart of west midtown. Plenty of parking. The plaza itself is new and modern but empty to the point that it’s depressing. So knowing it’s run by Chinese, we were hoping for authentic food. What we got is beyond disappointing. All 3 dishes we got were bland no flavor. Dan Dan noodle was simply just cold noodle with cucumber (which they did mention only having cucumber but the fact that it didn’t have any flavor was not informed). The pork and chive dumpling was not fresh, it had a weird taste and smell. We were gonna sit and eat there but the vibe inside the restaurant is a take out vibe with counter service. The business they seemed to have were all through delivery company. It’s safe to say we won’t be back.

The various dumplings we had were delicious. The beef flank hot pot was flavorful and hot - delicious. The robot serving us gave clear instructions as to which dishes were ours. Great friendly service. Will return to eat again.

Just got back from Nyc and was craving some Sichuan. The woman behind the counter was super sweet. Even when a customer came in and asked if they served fries. WITHOUT reading the menu. She had the patience of a saint. I ordered the beef soup and soup dumplings. This woman was manning the counter, filing dumplings, and helping cook in the back. And it still came out hot and delicious! The soup seemingly had no bottom and was full of beef and beef flavor. Lots of veggies, and the side black vinegar, chili oil, and white pepper only help. Then the soup dumplings. I took a bite and they burst with broth almost every time (in the best way possible). Eating them with a soup spoon over a bowl is preferred. They were so good I ordered some frozen ones to go. Very clean decor and I'll be back again. They have a loyal customer.

This is a branch of the northern China eatery and if you have been there then this place is a smashing hit too. Their dumplings are to die for but this time we also Tried their bao buns and they were delicious, so soft, chewy yet melting in your mouth and all kinds of amazing. We tried the cucumber salad and I have to say it tasted fresh, tangy with a little zing of sweet and the hotness from chilli. Perfect appetizer before you have your main and I also love the cute detailing they have done with the place. A must try if you live dumplings and bao buns.
