Was in the city for a few days in a work trip and this was a heavily recommended spot. From the outside didn't look like anything special but interior was nice. Large dining room but wad fully packed, definitely make a reservation. I was lucky to find a seat at the bar. Food was great but I wish there was more seafood or veggie options. The chilly chili noodles were probably Mt favorite dish I tried, spicy, salty, and packed with flavor. Since they were served cold it also felt refreshing to eat. The scallion pancakes were tasty but for the price I felt like the portion was too small. The main dish I had was shrimp dumplings in squash soup. The soup really hit the spot and fit the fall chicago vibe, and the shrimp dumplings were tasty as well. Overall interesting food experience and worth the visit!

Really enjoyed Duck Duck Goat. Specifically went for the Duck Fried Rice, and ended up liking it, but not loving it. Just wanted the fried rice to be a bit crispier and my Duck Egg was a bit overcooked, so the egg wasn't as runny as I would've liked. That being said, it was still a pleasant experience and the vibe of the restaraunt was incredible.

My boyfriend and I are from out of town and celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant. Not only was the food absolutely superb (the duck fried rice particularly), the waitress was very friendly and attentive. We even received a surprise anniversary dessert, which was one of the most delicious treats we've ever had. Would happily return to Duck Duck Goat and recommend to all who enjoy quality food in a quality ambiance.

A nice brunch and dinner spot for Asian fusion cuisine. The chef, Stephanie Izard, curated a menu that focuses on using ducks and goats as the center ingredient for traditional Chinese dishes, but with a slight spin. For dinner, I really enjoyed the Pecan Cauliflower - it reminds me of the Bang Bang Broccoli from Planta but with more spices added to it. The hand pulled Slap Noodles are also delicious. I personally found the radish in the Peking Duck a bit odd as that is not a common ingredient used in the dish. For Brunch, I was happy to see they offered the Little Piggy - a classic dish from their sister restaurant, Little Goat Diner. The Duck Omelette and Spring Rolls were also delicious. Overall, though very flavourful, I found the dishes too salty. This slightly hindered the enjoyment of the meal as I found the dishes to be less edible over time due to the overuse of salt.
