About Dragon Town
Dragon Town is a Chinese restaurant located at 503 Lincoln Ave, Bellevue, PA 15202, USA. As a Chinese Restaurant, Dragon Town primarily serves the local community with takeout options, including delivery services.
For inquiries or to place an order, you can contact them at their phone number: (412) 761-2878 or their mobile phone: +1 412-761-2878.
Customer reviews indicate that Dragon Town has several highly-rated items, particularly the mango cake (noted as potentially seasonal and homemade-tasting), the roasted pork egg roll (crispy with plenty of dipping sauces), and the fried donuts (simple yet satisfying and a good value). These items are frequently praised for their flavor and value. However, some entrees, specifically breaded and fried meat options like the honey chicken, have been described as disappointing, with issues such as being gloppy, mostly breading, soggy, and lacking sauce flavor. The restaurant uses white meat chicken in some dishes, which is appreciated.
Dragon Town provides standard free fortune cookies with every visit or order and complimentary free rice with entrees. However, the rice itself has been described as having small kernels, an odd aftertaste, and a crunchy texture, receiving negative feedback. One reviewer, who moved from NYC, considers Dragon Town to be one of the better Chinese takeout options available in Pittsburgh, noting the fast and hot delivery.
Based on customer feedback, Dragon Town's features include standout appetizers and desserts that are considered delicious and of good value. While the delivery service is noted as fast and reliable, the quality of some entrees, particularly the breaded and fried options, appears inconsistent. The environment is not described as it seems to be primarily a takeout and delivery service. There is no specific promotional information available, but the inclusion of free fortune cookies and rice with entrees could be considered standard offerings.

This place was decently close to getting a 5 stars from me. However, one item I tried was essentially inedible, and it was an entree, so I can't give the, full marks. Tonight, I had the fried donuts, mango cake, and roasted pork egg roll, and honey chicken. The first thing I tried was the mango cake, which seems to only be seasonally available. It was very, very good! It tastes homemade too. Not too sweet, fluffy, and delightful. You won't feel terribly full or on sugar-overload after finishing a few of these. And, the value is amazing: 3 pieces for just over $2! (4.75/5) Next, I tried their roasted pork egg roll. It was also very good. The pork didn't really taste "roasted" but it was decent. They give you plenty of sauces to dip the roll in (duck, soy, mustard). It's crispy and filled pretty well (4/5). Their donuts were also delicious. Clearly they are quite simple to make, but again, the value and flavors matched my expectations and definitely satisfied me. A full 10 for just $6 and change. Plenty of sugar drizzled all around them. (4/5) Now, for the only majorly disappointing factor in this meal, the honey chicken. If the entree is terrible, the rating and pleasure you get from a meal is going to drop significantly. Here, it was just a mess. Gloppy, most breads, soggy, no flavor in the sauce. Portion size was okay, bit smaller than other places but it's also cheaper. I will say that I like that they are using white meat chicken. (2/5) They give you the standard free fortune cookies with any visit or order. There's also complimentary free rice with every entree, I believe. But, their rice is a bit weird. Small kernels and odd aftertaste, too crunchy as well. (2/5) All in all, this place definitely has some delicious options, but some entrees miss the mark entirely. I recommend staying away from the breaded/fried meat options and choosing something like ribs or chicken and broccoli instead. Mango cake, egg rolls, and donuts are quite good, though.
My favorite place to get Chinese takeout in Pittsburgh. After moving from NYC, we have been looking for 1 decent Chinese place for delivery and I think this is as good as it will get in Pittsburgh. Delivery is always fast and shows up hot and fresh. Egg rolls are my favorite and have a hint of cinnamon and the “amazing” chicken was the worst thing we had (Americanized junk).
I ordered Uber Eats pickup from this restaurant. The dishes had good taste and texture, but the value was just average, with just an average portion size given the price. --- Entree: Bourbon Chicken Price: $9.25 Weight: 376 grams (entree), 329 grams (rice) Taste: 5/5 One of the only bourbon chicken entrees in the Pittsburgh area and it does not disappoint. The dish is more savory than honey chicken, and less sweet than something like General Tso's. The texture of the meat was very good, with the chicken being very tender and having a "snap" when biting into it. The sauce was on-point as mentioned and the entree had an appropriate, not overwhelming amount of sauce like you typically see at Chinese takeouts. A fantastic dish to order again. Value: 3/5 Unfortunately this entree really falls short in the value category, coming in at 40.6g/$ (entree only) and 76.2g/$ (including rice). It is definitely still a solid amount of food, especially considering the low price, but compared to your average Chinese takeout, the amount of food here is below the standard. --- Entree: Ma Po To Fu Price: $8.50 Weight: 704 grams (entree), 323 grams (rice) Taste: 4/5 A pretty solid mapo tofu dish with the right amount of spiciness and a good texture on the tofu and pork. The dish is let down a little bit in its brown sauce, which was slightly too vinegary and sour whereas it should have more of a spicy / savory flavor. Texture of all the different elements was good, with nothing being mushy or overcooked. Overall a very solid dish only let down by the sauce. Value: 4/5 As a vegetarian dish, this entree definitely hits the mark in terms of bang for buck. At 82.8g/$ (entree) and 120.8g/$ (with rice), it's going to be unlikely that you would find a better value dish. However, deducting a point here because the amount of pork here was fairly lacking compared to mapo tofu dishes at other Chinese takeouts. This is a definitely a dish that will leave you full, but comparatively to similar dishes from other restaurants, it doesn't quite earn full marks.
Horrible! Fried rice is now yellow rice , general tso taste like fish liquid! Do not order, believe they under new management
I guess it's under new management/owners. Before the food was delicious, never had a complaint. Now it's very bland, little taste. I ordered General Tso's Chicken looking forward to what I'm used to from there, but was sadly disappointed with the new oddly flavored item. Crab Rangoon didn't come with dipping sauce, like I just took a bite out of a cream cheese block. Needless to say I won't be ordering again from what was once my favorite Chinese restaurant 😞
