About Dragon Tea House

Dragon Tea House is a Chinese Restaurant located at 1327 E Commercial Blvd, Oakland Park, FL 33334, USA. You can contact them at (954) 771-2773 or +1 954-771-2773.

Dragon Tea House operates as a fast casual establishment where customers can place their orders at an electronic menu near the front door or directly with a friendly cashier. They are known for providing generous servings of food that is served very hot, so customers are advised to be cautious. The food is generally described as delicious and cooked very well, with specific mention of broccoli and carrots being cooked to perfection, retaining their color and crunch.

One customer ordered a pint of chicken and broccoli with carrots, which is served with rice (declined by this customer but received by their partner). Their partner also ordered a pint of vegetable soup, while the customer had a pint of hot and sour soup. The portion of chicken and broccoli was finishable, but the hot and sour soup was so substantial and spicy that half had to be taken home.

Each meal came with a wonton package and condiment packets, including duck sauce and soy sauce (the latter was not used by one customer). A complete set of plastic utensils (fork, spoon, knife) with a napkin, pepper, and salt were also provided, along with a fortune cookie each, although neither cookie contained a fortune message. This customer found it to be a very good place and intends to return in the future.

However, another customer reported a significant issue with their order of shrimp chow mein, stating that it was received without any noodles, consisting only of vegetables and shrimp. This customer expressed confusion as "chow mein" traditionally includes noodles and was dissatisfied with the order.

Overall, Dragon Tea House is generally praised for its generous portions of hot and well-cooked Chinese food and friendly service in a fast casual setting. However, there has been at least one report of a significant error in order preparation.

This is a fast casual place where you order at electronic menu near front door or directly with friendly cashier. Generous servings of food served very hot (be careful you don’t burn your tongue or mouth), delicious and cooked very well. Broccoli and carrots cooked to perfection retaining beautiful color and crunch. We each got a pint of chicken and broccoli with carrots. Its served with rice that I declined but, partner got. My partner also got a pint of vegetable soup and I got a pint of hot and sour soup. I was able to finish chicken and broccoli but had to take half of hot and sour soup home because it was making me sweat so much. Our meals were also served with a wonton package each along with 2 duck sauce packets, 2 soy sauce which I would decline on next visit as it was not used. We each got a complete set of plastic utensils fork spoon knife with napkin, pepper and salt. And also a fortune cookie each but, neither of us had a fortune message. Very good place will return to someday. Thanks

I ordered shrimp chow mein, and I literally received the order withOUT noodles whatsoever. All I got was a dish full of vegetables and noodles. The lady on the phone says there’s NO NOODLES for a chow MEIN dish??? The word ‘chow’ means stir-fried, and ‘mein’ means NOODLES. Help me make it make sense! Everywhere I’ve ever ordered chow mein has noodles, 100% of the time!

The food is decent, but nothing to go out of your way about. The place is pretty clean and they have a small area to dine in. They're not a family outing type restaurant and will not get the traditional Chinese dine in experience. They're best for takeout only or if you don't want to sit in your car while you're eating on the go.

Emily was OUTSTANDING! She explained to me the differences between dishes, and she guided me through my order. And the food was truly excellent. Much love to her 💓
