About Dragon Pan

Dragon Pan is a Chinese restaurant located at 201 Fresh Dr B in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Serving both local residents and visitors to the Myrtle Beach area, Dragon Pan offers a convenient option for those seeking Chinese cuisine, primarily focusing on takeout service. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Dragon Pan based on recent customer reviews, highlighting aspects such as service speed, food quality, and value.

Details regarding the environment or ambiance of Dragon Pan are not extensively covered in the provided reviews. One reviewer mentioned a "walk-in ordering" process being "a breeze," suggesting a straightforward and efficient setup for customers picking up their orders. However, there is no specific information about a dine-in area or the overall atmosphere of the establishment. Therefore, the primary focus of the available feedback is on the efficiency of their service and the quality of their food for takeout.

One of the key features highlighted in the reviews is the speed and efficiency of the service at Dragon Pan. A customer who ordered chicken and mixed vegetables with white rice reported that their order was ready in just 10 minutes, describing the service as "quick and efficient." This suggests that Dragon Pan prioritizes fast order fulfillment, making it a suitable option for those looking for a speedy meal. The ease of walk-in ordering further contributes to the convenience factor for customers.

The quality of the food at Dragon Pan appears to be generally acceptable, although opinions vary slightly. One reviewer described their meal as "decent," noting that while it wasn't "groundbreaking," it "hit the spot for a fast, no-fuss meal." This suggests that the food is satisfactory for those seeking a quick and simple Chinese takeout option. However, this same reviewer indicated that the food was not exceptional enough to be particularly memorable.

In contrast, another reviewer expressed initial hesitation due to prior reviews but was ultimately glad they tried Dragon Pan. This customer stated that they ordered "several things" and were pleased enough to want to order them again and to try other items on the menu. This more positive feedback indicates that Dragon Pan is capable of producing dishes that customers enjoy and are willing to repurchase.

Value for money seems to be another positive aspect of Dragon Pan, at least for one reviewer. This customer, who described themselves as "a little on the cheap side," found the cost to be "well worth it." This suggests that Dragon Pan offers its food at prices that are perceived as reasonable and justifiable by at least some of its clientele.

Based on the available reviews, Dragon Pan primarily functions as a takeout restaurant, emphasizing quick and efficient service. While one reviewer found the food to be just "decent" for a fast meal, another had a more positive experience, expressing a desire to reorder and explore more of the menu. The cost was also deemed reasonable by at least one customer. These points suggest that Dragon Pan offers a convenient and potentially good-value option for Chinese takeout in the Myrtle Beach area, although the culinary experience might not be consistently exceptional.

No specific promotional information is mentioned in the provided reviews. Customers interested in any special offers or discounts at Dragon Pan would need to contact the restaurant directly to inquire.

Ordered the chicken and mixed veggies with white rice, and it was ready in just 10 minutes—quick and efficient! Walk-in ordering was a breeze, and the food was decent. Nothing groundbreaking, but it hit the spot for a fast, no-fuss meal. Would I write home about it? Probably not, but if you're in the mood for something simple and speedy, it's a solid option.

I was hesitant to try this place because of the reviews, however I am glad I did. We got several things and I will buy them all again, and am looking forward to trying other items from the menu. I tend to be a little on the cheap side, the cost was well worth it.

I ordered mild food twice. It was spicy so I called the restaurant to complain. They have no clue they say mild is spicy I have to say not spicy. Very poor service. I told them do a google search and look up mild. I think really think we should quit eating nasty Chinese food and buy Chinese items. They don’t even apologize.

I have been to Dragon Pan many times, since it is close to where my parents live. We have tried many different takeout Chinese food places around the area, and this has been my favorite one so far. The sauces are rich in flavor, and their dumplings are amazing. The Chicken and Broccoli is my go-to. The chicken and broccoli are generously coated in sauce. The boneless spare ribs were also really good. Not pictured, but I have had their lo mein, wonton soup, and egg rolls, which are all really delicious as well. I will say that I'm not the only one who really appreciates the food here. They get really busy around dinner time, and it might be hard to call in an order because the lines are so busy around that time. The wait time is also pretty long, but I think that it is worth the wait. Edit: I have added pictures of their take out menu.

Called New Years Eve. Had to wait two hours. Went on time. Wasn’t done. Once home, food was only fair. Vegetables were soggy. No taste. Very disappointed. Won’t go there again. I’m being nice by giving 2 stars.
