About Dragon Inn

Dragon Inn is a Chinese Restaurant situated at 22 Washington Square in Washington Court House, Ohio. As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, Dragon Inn aims to serve the community with a variety of Chinese dishes. This introduction is based on recent feedback from customers who have shared their experiences with the restaurant.

Based on the available reviews, it appears that customer experiences at Dragon Inn have been varied. One former regular customer expressed significant concerns regarding hygiene practices observed during a recent visit. This customer reported witnessing an employee handling food and food packaging after repeatedly wiping a runny nose with bare hands. The review specifically mentioned the employee touching rice boxes, packing a bag of food, handling every food container, and then touching tongs at the fryer without wearing gloves. This observation led the customer to walk out on their order and state that they would not be returning due to hygiene concerns.

Another customer shared a negative experience with a specific dish, the Mongolian beef. This reviewer stated that the dish contained a disproportionately large amount of onions with very little beef. They also commented that the flavor was not consistent with their expectations of Mongolian beef compared to versions they had tried at other restaurants in Columbus, describing the taste as "horrible." Additionally, this customer ordered cream cheese wontons, which they described as a version of crab rangoons, and found them to be "horrible" as well. Due to the poor quality of these two items, this reviewer also indicated that they would not be returning to try other dishes at Dragon Inn, despite their love for Chinese food.

Given the nature of the provided feedback, it is challenging to offer insights into the typical environment or atmosphere of Dragon Inn, as neither review focused on the dining space itself. One customer specifically mentioned ordering for pick-up, implying that they did not dine in. The other customer's negative experience with the food quality and a side order did not include any remarks about the restaurant's ambiance.

Regarding services, Dragon Inn clearly offers takeout, as evidenced by one customer's experience with placing and picking up an order. It is highly probable that they also provide dine-in services at their location on Washington Square. The availability of phone numbers ((740) 333-3011 and +1 740-333-3011) suggests that customers can place orders or make inquiries via telephone. It is not explicitly stated whether Dragon Inn offers delivery services. Local users interested in delivery options may need to contact the restaurant directly or check with third-party food delivery platforms to ascertain if this service is available.

In terms of features, the provided reviews do not highlight any specific positive features of Dragon Inn. One review details a concerning hygiene issue, while the other criticizes the quality and preparation of specific menu items. Without additional information, it is difficult to identify any unique aspects or specialties that Dragon Inn might offer.

Similarly, there is no information regarding any promotional offers or special deals that Dragon Inn might be running. Local Chinese restaurants sometimes offer lunch specials, combination meals, or discounts on certain days. To find out if Dragon Inn currently has any promotions, interested customers would need to contact the restaurant directly or look for any advertisements in local media or online.

In conclusion, the recent customer feedback for Dragon Inn in Washington Court House, OH, presents significant concerns regarding hygiene practices and food quality for at least two specific customers. One reviewer cited observing an unhygienic food handling practice that led them to cancel their order and vow not to return. The other customer expressed strong dissatisfaction with the Mongolian beef and cream cheese wontons, stating that they were of poor quality and not to their taste, also leading to a decision not to return. Potential customers may want to consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to patronize Dragon Inn. For those interested in trying Dragon Inn, it may be prudent to inquire about their current hygiene protocols and perhaps seek more up-to-date reviews from other sources to get a broader perspective on the restaurant's current standards.

I used to love this place but I just walked out on an order. I won't be returning. The lady who filled the order kept wiping her runny nose with her bare hand and touching the boxes of rice!!! Over and over she did this! She packed the bag and handled every box of food! She didn’t have gloves on then touched the tongs at the fryer so that's all contaminated. I'm not really that afraid of germs but honestly, it turned my stomach. I'm never going back here!

So sad that they can't hold themselves accountable. I ordered something that I never received and when I call and ask for a refund I get hung up on. When you're on a budget, the 12 dollars worth of food you didn't get MATTERS. BE BETTER
