Dragon Gate

Wanted to have some Chinese food on the eve of Lunar New Year and decided to give this place a try as the reviews are reasonably good. The food is acceptable though it is not the taste we are used to in Asia. Fair enough that they need to localised. The dishes for set dinner we ordered has too much fried stuff. The portions are very generous and we have to pack half of them back. The Chinese lady who attended to us was nice and helpful. The ambience is nice too.

A real gem. The food was delicious, the server very nice, and the price was a real bargain. The Hong Kong chicken was unique, a great crispiness but the breading was delicate. Very highly recommended.

Awful experience. Have gotten decent food from here before but not this time. One dinner was completely wrong and not what we ordered. Fried rice was blandest I've ever tasted and barely warm. Other dinner was ok but seems to have a totally different set of ingredients than usual. Person on phone didn't seem too concerned with any of this. Probably best to go elsewhere and there are better places.

I just ordered some foods . The sampler platter so awful!! The beef stick looks like rat meat.

I hate to leave a not so great review from a place I’ve always loved, since their original location but….. something was off this time. The pepper steak had a different smell and didn’t taste the same. It was in more of a gravy than the normal pepper steak sauce. The General Tso’s tasted like sweet and sour chicken, the fried rice was a lot darker, maybe brown rice? And the pot stickers weren’t great either. I’m not sure what happened but it’s def not the same. Very Disappointed.
