Based on recent customer feedback available online, it is crucial for local users to be aware of significant negative experiences reported by patrons regarding the quality and taste of the food.
Information regarding the specific ambiance or interior environment of Dragon City Restaurant is not provided in the available reviews. Both reviews focus entirely on the severe dissatisfaction with the food quality and service aspects of their takeout experiences. Therefore, local users seeking information about the dine-in atmosphere will need to consider that this aspect is not covered in the provided feedback. The absence of any positive or descriptive comments about the environment suggests that it was not a notable aspect of the customers' experiences, especially in light of the issues they encountered with the food.
The services discussed in the provided reviews pertain solely to takeout. One customer explicitly mentioned getting their meal "hot and ready" for pickup, indicating that takeout service is offered. However, the overwhelmingly negative feedback overshadows any potential positives about the service itself. One reviewer recounted having to make two trips to Dragon City, the first and the last, due to the extremely poor quality of their order and a significant error (missing sauce). This highlights potential issues with order accuracy and overall service quality in the context of takeout.
The features of Dragon City Restaurant, as reflected in the recent customer reviews, are unfortunately negative. A primary concern is the reported inedibility of the food. One reviewer stated their meal was "ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING to eat!" and that it was not edible "whatsoever," leading them to discard it. This raises serious questions about the restaurant's current food preparation standards. Another significant issue reported was the omission of sauce for the sweet and sour chicken, a fundamental component of the dish. Additionally, the egg rolls were described as "greasy," indicating poor preparation or ingredient quality. The hot and sour soup was also heavily criticized, with one customer stating it tasted like "some sort of bbq beef soup," deviating significantly from the expected flavor profile of this classic Chinese soup. Furthermore, the Szechuan shrimp was described as looking and tasting like it was made with a "BBQ/ tomato sauce base," which the reviewer found to be "HORRIBLE." These consistent and severe criticisms across multiple dishes suggest significant issues with the fundamental quality and authenticity of the food being served.
Currently, there is no indication of any positive features or promotional information in the provided reviews. The feedback is overwhelmingly negative, focusing on the inedible nature of the food and significant errors in order preparation. Therefore, local users cannot rely on this information to identify any positive attributes or ongoing promotions at Dragon City Restaurant. The strong warnings from both reviewers to avoid the restaurant and to read reviews before visiting serve as a powerful counter-recommendation, suggesting that potential customers should exercise extreme caution.
In conclusion, the recent customer feedback for Dragon City Restaurant in Cincinnati, OH, paints a concerning picture. Both available reviews express extreme dissatisfaction with the food quality, describing it as disgusting, inedible, and poorly prepared. Specific issues include missing sauce, greasy egg rolls, and significant deviations from the expected flavors of hot and sour soup and Szechuan shrimp. I’m going to be completely honest I’ll never come to this Dragon city again. It’s very disappointing to have your mouth fixed for this type of food and to get all the way home to a meal that was hot and ready but ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING to eat! The meal was not edible whatsoever….. PLEASE READ all these reviews before you go to this restaurant and waste your time and money for an absolute disappointment! The food made it back into the bag it was put in!
This might be the worst Chinese we've ever had. They forgot to put the sauce in the bag for sweet-sour chicken. The egg rolls were greasy. The hot and sour soup tastes like some sort of bbq beef soup, and the sczechuan shrimp looks and tastes like it's made with a BBQ/ tomato sauce base. IT IS HORRIBLE. We made 2 trips to dragon city tonight, the 1st and the last.
Good, basic Chinese food. Hot and fresh but flavorless. Stingy with sauces and fortune.cookies. My spring rolls wonton paper was stale, but they still deep fried it and sent it to me. Prepping too far in advance. Should have thrown it out. Smh. Had an issue with my CC. They double charge you when you leave a tip and cause a double hold of 20% gratuity, even if you leave a tip, in addition, which becomes an inconvenience, especially if you have a nice size bill. Uses a disrespectful 3rd party phone service to answer customer service complaints. Sounds like they are all family, that's why the phone service is so comfortable being disrespectful.
This place is the absolute worst. I ordered a chicken egg roll and chicken and broccoli, and the food was old and cold. The eggrolls were inside of a refrigerator uncovered, and they were old and tasted stale. The gravy was still congealed and not warmed up all the way, the customer service is terrible. I wouldn’t take my worst enemy to this location. It used to be good years ago, but they went downhill.
Don't know why they call either mei fun something different but them curating it up real short it an annoyance for chopsticks, use a fork, tastes good tho. The crab ragoon is mid, not bad but not great. Teriyaki chicken is just grilled chicken
