We had an incredible meal at Dragon City Chinese Restaurant in Hollywood, Florida! If you’re a fan of bold, authentic Szechuan flavors, this spot is an absolute gem. We ordered a spread of Mapo Tofu, Szechuan Veal, Szechuan Pork, and Chili Fish—and every single dish was a knockout. The Mapo Tofu was silky, spicy, and full of that signature numbing heat that real Szechuan cuisine is known for. The Szechuan Veal and Pork were both tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with just the right balance of spice, garlic, and depth. But the star of the show might’ve been the Chili Fish—crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and swimming in a fiery, aromatic chili oil that we couldn’t stop eating. The portions were generous, and the service was quick and friendly. You can tell this place puts care into every dish, and the flavors are the real deal. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Chinese food with serious Szechuan heat. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

Great authentic Chinese restaurant. We caught a rainbow runner deep sea fishing, but were staying at a hotel so couldn't prepare it ourselves. They steamed it with ginger and soy, and my kids devoured it. The general tso's was crispy white meat (for those looking for typical American Chinese fare) and the combination pan fried noodles were delicious. The portions were huge, we had leftovers but were so stuffed we couldn't eat them.

Hands down one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in the area. While the customer service and interior design might not be top-tier, this place delivers on what really matters – the food. If you’re craving a true taste of Asia, especially Hong Kong/Cantonese-style cuisine, this spot will definitely satisfy your stomach. The dishes strike a great balance of flavor, not too oily or overly seasoned, which is something I really appreciate. The ambiance may not be the best, but what it lacks in decor, it more than makes up for in taste. Plus, the prices are affordable and reasonable, making it a great choice for anyone looking to try something new. Worth a visit if you’re feeling adventurous and want some genuine, delicious Chinese food!

Amazing service and even better food!!! My family has been coming here for years and my grandma loves this place, and she finds the best Chinese restaurants in town. Food: The food is always so good and authentic. My family is well taken care of here. The green beans are especially yummy! They even give everyone free fruit at the end of the meal, so refreshing. Service: The service was very good, even with a birthday party going on. They took good care of us. Atmosphere: I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, very authentic and nice! They show fish and lobster in their tanks which kids love, too.

Dragon City is the BEST authentic Chinese food I have ever had in Florida. I have spent the last 15 years eating in the top NYC Chinatown restaurants and Dragon City goes toe to toe with them. Highly recommend checking this place out. Atmosphere is what you’d expect from a classic Chinatown Restaurant. Tea was great and the Food came out hot and quick. You come here to eat good Chinese Food and that is it, I love it. Update: Came back almost two years later… nothing has changed… still the best in the area.
