Dragon City Buffet

It's a nice big buffet with a good variety of food, including fresh sushi ( seemed a little dry but good) as well as hibachi. My daughter is gluten free, dairy free and sugar free and there were plenty of options for her. We were also able to get a good amount of foods for my 10 month old and my growing 14 year old was able to get filled. Waitress was very nice and attentive. The food area and seating is clean. The bathrooms are decent. Parking lot has plenty of space. It doesn't look like it but if you go further back behind the building there is more parking. The building inside is very spacious and has lots of seating as well. All around good food, friendly service and a decent dessert selection we would come here again.

$16 Monday night buffet. Has good hibachi grill with shrimp chicken steak. Scoop ice cream. Usual buffet stuff. Decent steaks cooked medium. Top sirloin from cut. I liked the sushi and the hot and sour soup. Fried chicken legs were crispy and almost as good as Kentucky. They offer gloves for serving. Many of the plates were chipped. Booo... Chairs are worn and damaged. Definitely time for a refurb. Total tax on food in Daphne is 9.5%

It is very affordable and offers a wide variety of food, including many fruits and sweets. The restaurant has a live Hibachi-style kitchen that serves customized fried noodles and fried rice. The food was severely good, but I also doubled the quality of the food. It should harm your health for sure….😰 The staff are all very nice and kind.

I'll start with what upset me: the very first "clean" plate I took, and under it were the remains of food from the previous customer. It was disgusting. I changed the plates. It's a pity that I didn't take a photo. The dishpit doesn't cope with its task. I read a review that after visiting this establishment, a customer developed ulcers on the mucous membrane, so I also received this compliment from the establishment. If only I had read this review earlier. Even freshly brought cola is very diluted, the establishment saves even on this. We were not with a child, but people were sitting at the next table with a baby, and I was outraged by the shabby, peeling table for a child knocked together with metal corners. Some strange individuals in dirty clothes, without a uniform and aprons and a hairnet came out of the kitchen to check the food. And then you understand that it is unlikely that they adhere to any standards at all. The service is a little rude. they weren't rude to us, nothing bad, they just made us feel that the sooner we left, the better. and finally about the food, a pretty good selection, and pretty decent sushi, as for a buffet. I strongly urge the owners to review the quality of the processing of cutlery and plates, remove from use all the broken cracked chipped plates, as this is unacceptable. I really, really want to write to the local health department

Really wish we could do half stars because I would rate 4.5 stars for Dragon City Buffet. The half star reduction only comes because of the inherent nature of a buffet restaurant; lots of hands touching everything, food getting slung here and yon, etc., etc. Other than that, this place is awesome. Food is outstanding, mostly clean everywhere, good staff. And don’t tell me it’s not real Chinese food because I’m there for the food they have, not for what some big mouth world-traveler wannabe who wouldn’t know a real Chinese fish if it was poured over their head determines is authentic. I don’t care, I love their food. Black Pepper Chicken, or as I call it “Meat Candy”, is a must. Always great, worth the trip. If you’re a food snob, I won’t see you there! 😉
