Despite these occasional missteps, Dragon City continues to be a favorite among many diners who value authentic Chinese cuisine.

One customer shared their experience of ordering the General Tso's chicken combo, noting that the lack of sauce made it feel like eating chicken nuggets. While they enjoyed the rest of the meal, this particular aspect left room for improvement. Another patron mentioned that while the dumplings and noodle dishes were okay, there was often too much dough, which detracted from the overall flavor. Despite these minor criticisms, most diners agree that Dragon City is worth trying, especially for those seeking a taste of China in Bloomingburg.

A little disappointed with this place. The broth in the wonton soup was flavorless but the wontons themselves had good flavor. The noodle part was over cooked and fell right off the meat. The cold noodle sesame salad was awful. They must have poured straight up sugar on it or something. It was extremely sweet and gritty. I had to throw it out because it wasn’t edible. The steamed dumplings were okay. Flavor was good but there was a lot of dough. The general tso and sesame chicken was okay.

Four stars because I ordered a General Tao's chicken combo and it's lack of sauce made it like chicken nuggets. Delicious otherwise

I drive all the way from wurtsboro and pass a Chinese restaurant to get to them. They are that good.

I have a Chinese place in my neighborhood but I have always traveled from Wurtsboro down to bloomingburg for better food. Today I was given what looked like a Chinese happy meal. People are willing to pay for good food. That's why I travel right past my own Chinese spot and go down to Bloomingburg. Tonight I was given an order of crab Rangoon that was half the amount and half the size. Duck sauce. No sweet and sour. $10 for steamed broccoli, no sauce, no meal. Dumplings are so bland. No flavor. No garlic or ginger in the dumpling sauce 🤬 You say you will never sell your building? You better consider selling because nobody wants to pay for that! You just lost another customer.

The owners are very rude. They do not know or simply do not care to show proper etiquette and kindness towards customers. Update: my wife recently went there and said they were MUCH more friendly this time and the experience was much better. Jury is still out till the next time if I ever go there. Keeping an open mind. Update #2: My initial review still stands. To be completely honest, their food is below any standard of Chinese food I've ever ordered. Secondly, yeah, they're rude. No thank you's or professional etiquette towards their customers. Lastly, we will not be going there again. The place is dirty and they LITERALLY have children working the register and handling food. If you don't believe me, just walk inside the establishment, if one could call it that. It is simply and utterly DISGUSTING. That's all I have to say about that.
