About Dragon Chinese Restaurant

Dragon Chinese Restaurant, situated at 146 Raylinsky Rd unit 1 in Ballston Lake, NY, offers a Chinese dining experience with a buffet option. They can be contacted at (518) 289-5566 or their mobile number +1 518-289-5566.

According to customer reviews, Dragon Chinese Restaurant is considered a fantastic option for a buffet in its local area, especially given the perceived lack of quality food outlets nearby. A notable feature is its extended operating hours compared to many other establishments, staying open later than most choices besides fast food.

The restaurant is described as clean and typically busy. However, one reviewer mentioned instances of chaos, such as lost orders. On the positive side, the lomein is highlighted as consistently good, and the chicken is noted for being white meat and fried to a crisp. In contrast, the sauces are described as disappointing, being either too bland or excessively sweet. Additionally, the egg rolls were reported to have a mushy texture.

For local users in Ballston Lake, NY, Dragon Chinese Restaurant presents itself as a convenient option, particularly for its buffet and later operating hours. While the environment is clean and the lomein and crispy chicken are praised, potential diners should be aware of the mixed feedback regarding the sauces and egg rolls. The restaurant's popularity suggests it is a frequented spot, but experiences with order accuracy may vary. It could be worth trying to see if it aligns with your preferences for a Chinese buffet in the area.

For a buffet down here it's fantastic. The area as a whole lacks in quality food outlets so this is a breath of fresh air. They stay open later than almost all other choices besides the fast food joints. The food is fresh, and the price isn't too bad for what you get.

It's clean and usually busy. That being said, there seems to be a lot of chaos (lost orders and whatnot). The lomein is really good and consistent. The chicken is white meat and fried crispy. The sauces are a let down--they're too bland or too sweet. Oh, and the egg rolls are somehow mushy.

Do you like your sauces watered down to blandness? Do you like old wontons that fall apart before you can pull them out of the soup? Do you like soggy general TSO, again, with watery sauce? If so, you're in luck! They've got you covered 😉 Two stars because the fried doughnuts were really good

Stoked to have a solid Chinese takeout spot near Round Lake. Provided the exact flavor experience I was looking for with my General Tso tofu. Let’s make sure we keep them here for years to come, okay?

Based on the photos and website description of their Sweet and Sour, I had hopes it'd be the more authentic version where the sauce is on top of the meat and it has (as noted online) pineapple and bell peppers. Nope. I feel stupid. They make it the same way every other lazy Chinese place does. Lazy breaded chicken nuggets with sauce on the side and no veggies. It's a shame there's no authentic Chinese around here anymore.
