Double Happy

Take-out only on Main Street in Louisville. $20 entrees but large portions. Tried the general Tao’s- overly sweet. The accompanying vegetables were raw, kinda just thrown in there. Decent chicken, but nothing special.

Had a great meal for take out yesterday. They were able to accommodate us being gluten and dairy free. The beef fried rice was very much a highlight as was the boba! Will definitely be returning to try out more of the menu. The boba specifically came very highly recommended from a lot of locals.

Cheap Chinese food at expensive prices. A mostly tasteless and expensive meal with average ingredients - I was surprised by the small size of the shrimp. Fairly fresh, lower quality food. $29 for shrimp fried rice and 2 spring rolls. The peanut sauce was watered down yet tasted like it was full of sugar. If it was delicious and high quality totally worth the price, sadly I won’t be ordering from them again. The best part of the experience is the people, they were nice to deal with.

Double Disappointing. The change of ownership is pretty evident. The first meal I ordered from there was not consistent with what I have gotten in the past. Not sure how you can ruin Lo Mein and sesame beef, but they did. Also, it looks like the menu was drastically changed, and they no longer offer Pho or even Dim Sum. On top of the disappointing meal, they didn’t even throw in the typical fortune cookies, which my 4 year old was looking forward to. Guess my family and I will have to find a new go-to Chinese restaurant.

I always get delivery from here, but today was the first time I actually sat in the restaurant. If your looking for a peacefully quite 1ish PM lunch spot you've found the place. Located in the heart of downtown Louisville, it was a beautiful stroll up and down Main St. The Thai iced tea was perfectly sweet, and the egg rolls were super delicious. Lunch portions are reasonably priced and the hot and sour soup is one of the best.
