Don Tomasso's Italian Kitchen

My family hosted a large birthday party in private side room. We were very pleased with the whole process. Chef Tom worked with us with some food restrictions and all was excellent. We had dedicated waiters that stayed with us the entire night and were great. We enthusiastically recommend Don Tomasso’s for your celebrations.

Such a cute and comfortable atmosphere. Super friendly staff and delicious from scratch options. We got the chicken parm with green beans and lasagna 😋 Can't wait to get back.

We had four appetizers for dinner. Our hands down favorite is the calamari, followed by meatballs, salad with the best Bleu cheese dressing ever and lastly hummus. I normally love hummus and this was good but had more oregano (I think) than I like but it was good.

We come from out of town and have eaten here twice a year for 3 years. Our visit on 1/25/25 was very disappointing. Food quality was just not there. Smaller portions and higher prices lower quality. Our food was not hot and we waited over 10 mins from the first person in our party to get their food to the last person. Additionally, our server was obviously not having a good night. Her disposition was less than friendly or swift. When we requested a drink refill (when dinner was placed), the refill did not arrive until after everyone had finished eating. Another person at the table requested a box for their leftovers and that never came after waiting 25 mins for that and the bill. We had to get up and find another staff person to give us a to go box. Perhaps they were short staffed, but no one offered us any sort of explanation for the poor/slow service. Unfortunately, we won’t be back.

You know it’s the best when you’re still sitting in the restaurant writing the review!! We found this place driving from upper Michigan to Florida and thought we’d stop! I have to tell you!! The pizza, amazing!! Maybe even beyond amazing!! The best meatballs and let’s talk about the crust, YUM!! The special of the day was duck breast?? Hmmm, in a small town of Ohio?? Sounds sus, but ok I tried it and….It. Did. Not. Disappoint!! I ate it so fast, I forgot to take a picture!! The cherry - Merlot sauce will be in my dreams for days to come!!! Whether you’re a local or driving through, it’s a must stop!! Such a cool place! I will make sure to come this way again, and it will be only for the food.
