It is a small place and its easy to feel cramped once inside but it is clean from what I can tell. The food was delicious! My only complaint is that when I ate there the music (Christmas music) inside was way too loud and random. One moment its the chipmunks christmas song and the next it was classical jingle bells.
Longtime Favorite, but Recent Changes Are Disappointing I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years and always appreciated the reputation for quality and generous portions, especially the unagi dishes. However, in recent visits, we have noticed a decline in the amount and quality of the food. Last time,The unagi, in particular, has become noticeably thinner and less satisfying. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken as a reminder of the high standards that made this restaurant special. Many of us would love to see it return to its former glory.
I've always wanted to try Asian food, so I treated myself to some today. I was going to dine in, but this restaurant was PACKED! It's a small, popular restaurant. I didn't know what to get, but somewhat had a general idea. I asked a customer in front of me, and also the cashier Queenie. I got the pork, which was well cooked and tender, over undon noodles. Queenie suggested the Asian curry, which is usually poured over the pork and noodles. But, I asked for my sauce to be on the side, just in case I didn't like it. I actually like the pork and noodles without the Asian, curry sauce. To me, the curry sauce is more like the canned, Castlebury's beef stew, but with Asian, curry sauce. I've always wanted to try kimchi. I tried it and never want it again! Queenie provided GREAT customer service and was very helpful. She was also very welcome. The environment gave great vibes. If ever I'm back in the area, I will try again. I highly recommend Domo Café. They give great portion size. I have enough for dinner. Thanks you all!
Ate here on a work trip recommended to me by a friend & it did not disappoint. I ordered for two to try it out with the Katsu Bento Box with Cucumber Kimchi & Stir Fried Veggies & the Volcano Roll. All the dishes were delicious and the mango orange Hawaiian Sun still ranks as the best fruit juice👌🏽 If I were going to take anyone on a first date or lived in Florida I would make this spot a regular visit! 5/5 would high recommend to any katsu & sushi lovers.
I ordered Pork Katsu on the fried rice. When I go to any Japanese restaurant in America, I set my expectation as low as I can so I won't disappoint much. Their Katsu has Tonkatsu Sauce and Mayonnaise on top. I have never put mayonnaise on Katsu so it was very heavy for me. Food ordering system wasn't my favorite. People crowded by the entrance and drink fountain area to make an order and to pick up togo order. It was fun to experience and explore the american japanese food.
