Dolan Uyghur Restaurant

Such an incredible restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. We felt really well taken care of the whole time. We tried Chuchura, Samsa, Piter Manta, Royal Laghman, and Lamb Kebab, and honestly, everything was so flavorful and well made. If you're going, definitely try the Chuchura. It’s a comforting soup with dumplings and was one of our favorites. The Laghman was also amazing: tender meat, plenty of veggies, and the mushrooms gave it such a nice texture. The service was fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and attentive, which really made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The desserts really hit the spot. If you like honey cake, chocolate honey cake Spartak, or Napoleon, you’ve got to try them. They were all just the right amount of sweet. We loved every single one. Highly recommend this restaurant!

This was among the best meals that I've ever had! The flower tea was a nice flavor. We probably drank three pots of that! Next, we had the laghman noodles which had the perfect amount of spice (you can choose spicy or not, we did medium). The house made noodles were just amazing and the sauce was so flavorful. I didn't think anything could compare to the noodles, but then we had the goshnan. The crust was amazing and the filling was delicious. It's been two months since my husband and I ate here, and I'm still craving everything we had. Well done Dolan Uyghur Restaurant!! I can't wait to return.

We stopped in here based on the reviews. First off, the food was absolutely delicious. We didn’t didn’t order anything we didn’t enjoy. The lamb and chickens skewers were the best. The only place that fell short of me was the service. We had to wait quite awhile. For someone to take our order. When we wanted to order something additional I found myself looking and flagging down our waiter. Overall still good and price on par with the quality and portions. I would go back.

10000000/10! I never write reviews, so just know I’m going out of my way to give this restaurant their flowers. When anyone tells me they’re going to DC, this will be my first recommendation – IT IS A GEM! It’s such a quaint spot, and the staff was so lovely. We came here with my work colleagues and ordered basically half the menu – everything was delicious. I def recommend ordering a bunch of dishes to share and explore if you’re new to Uyghur cuisine. The honey cake and house tea were the perfect combo. I think that was the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life. I'm so excited to go back!!!

This place was fun! I am a big culture and food person and this was my first time having uyghur food (note I'm no authority on authenticity). The food was delicious. I've traveled the world and found the spices and combination very unique and extremely delicious. Our server Sena was fantastic and gave great recommendations. She was timely, friendly, personable, and on top of refills. Atmosphere was amazing. It was warm and quaint. Decore is great as well.
