Dim Sum Palace offers a delightful experience of authentic Cantonese cuisine, with a focus on dim sum. Customers have consistently praised the truly delicious dim sum, enhanced by incredible sauces. The menu boasts a great variety of options, ensuring satisfaction for all dim sum enthusiasts. The restaurant also offers excellent teas and soups, further complementing the meal.
The service at Dim Sum Palace is described as good and efficient, with attentive staff and quick food delivery. While the hospitality is noted to be basic, the prompt service is appreciated by diners.
The restaurant itself is characterized as small but comfortable. Although it might feel a bit crowded during peak hours, the cozy atmosphere does not detract from the overall dining experience. The ambiance is simple and pleasant, with the focus being primarily on the quality of the food rather than elaborate decorations. One reviewer also noted that the restaurant is pretty.
A notable feature is the enjoyable "Yue food" (Cantonese cuisine), particularly the good dumplings and above-average dishes. The fried rice is also appreciated for not being greasy. While one customer experienced a slight quirk with the rice arriving later, overall, the food is described as tasting fresh and flavorful. Although one reviewer found the rolls to be overdone and noted the absence of strong spices typical in Cantonese cooking (with chili oil being a welcome addition), the overall impression is positive.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available. However, Dim Sum Palace is highly recommended as a solid choice for those seeking authentic and flavorful dim sum and traditional Cantonese dishes in Midtown West. It's considered a great spot for a quick yet satisfying meal.

Dim Sum Palace is a traditional Chinese restaurant that offers excellent teas and soups. As expected, the dim sum is truly delicious, accompanied by incredible sauces that enhance the flavors. The menu provides a great variety of options, ensuring a satisfying experience for dim sum lovers. The service was good and efficient—nothing more, nothing less. The staff was attentive, and the food arrived quickly, which is always a plus. However, don’t expect anything beyond basic hospitality. The restaurant itself is small but comfortable. While the space might feel a bit tight during busy hours, it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. The ambiance is simple, with a focus on the food rather than elaborate decor. Overall, Dim Sum Palace is a solid choice for those looking to enjoy authentic dim sum and traditional Chinese flavors. The quality of the food, especially the teas, soups, and sauces, makes it worth a visit. If you’re in the mood for a quick yet flavorful meal, this spot is definitely recommended.
Go. Enjoyable Yue food. Good dumplings. Above average. I like their style of fried rice, not greasy. Service was quirky and rice did come out later. It is a pretty restaurant. Overall everything tasted fresh, (no issue there) and flavorful. Rolls were overdone. I don't think Cantonese use a lot of hot spice in their cooking which is fine. Chili Oil!! I return and will write more ✍️.
Dim Sum Palace is a great option for dim sum in NYC, especially if you prioritize convenience and variety. It's not the best dim sum you'll ever have, but it's a solid choice if you're in the mood for a quick and easy dim sum meal.
Very prompt service. Dim sum was wonderful. My wife had the shrimp, scallops and broccoli dish. Scallops were a little past tense. Green tea was perfect. I would come again.
We ordered a Peking duck take out 3 times . 1 st time it was a whole duck and all was great, but 2 other times and I see it as restaurants business pattern , we received less then half of the duck mostly skin pieces with a little bit of meat on a big pad of their chips . 2 times by now !!! I called the place , they were arguing with me on this and I took a picture as well. I lived in China for many years .. I know how Peking duck sliced looks like , not just fat skin and legs … The funny part is the owner knows us very well, but still makes sure he sells one duck twice !
