Don't let the name Dim Sum Palace fool you, they can do more than just dim sum. We had a lovely Xmas Eve dinner, steamed grouper fish, ginger & scallion crab, fried rice and eggplants for 4 people. If you want to get to know the Cantonese cuisine, I encourage you to order outside the dim sum menu. 😉

Had dinner at Dim Sum Palace last night, and it was a real treat! They had delicious dim sum and entrees. We chose an assortment of about 5 dim sum plus marinated cucumbers. Everything was delicious. My personal favorites were the Schezwan dumplings and the pork soup dumplings. We then moved on to an order of Mongolian Beef (spicy and delicious) and baby bok choy. This was the perfect amount of food for three people, and the prices were more than reasonable. I would highly recommend as it was far and away the best Chinese food I have had in quite some time.

I’m thrilled to share my amazing discovery! On the evening of December 7, 2024, around 10:15 pm, I was searching for a dining option when I came across this remarkable Cantonese restaurant. Intrigued by their menu, I confidently stepped inside and placed my order. I went for the Har Gow (Shrimp Dumplings), Shu Mai (Pork Dumplings with Roe), and Sticky Rice. The food was freshly prepared and served piping hot, which made the experience even better. One standout feature? The fact that I didn’t have to leave a tip really enhanced my visit! The flavours were outstanding, and the portions were just right. As a Biracial Black Canadian with a fondness for Chinese cuisine—a significant part of my life—I know what to order. It's important to understand that while Chinese attitudes might seem harsh, they aren’t meant to be rude. You want to dine at a place that prioritizes quality over pleasantries. If the staff seems overly friendly, it might be a red flag. This Dim Sum Palace is all about the food—you came to eat, and that’s their focus! I’m absolutely looking forward to my next visit!

Best dim sum place in NYC! The food and service are excellent. Feels like an authentic Chinese dining experience (coming from a native Chinese). For vegetarians, I recommend the vegetarian dim sum platter and Turnip cake. The main dishes, such as the Singapore seafood Mei Fun is also delicious. Cozy spot to come on the weekends!
