About Dim Sum Bistro

Looking for a Chinese Restaurant specializing in Dim Sum in Westminster? Dim Sum Bistro is located at 9200 Bolsa Ave #301, Westminster, CA 92683, USA. You can contact them at (714) 248-9384 or +1 714-248-9384.

As a Chinese Restaurant with a focus on Dim Sum, Dim Sum Bistro offers delivery services. One customer who ordered delivery found the dim sum to be "pretty good" with "pretty big portions" and great taste, specifically mentioning the delicious Jumbo pork and shrimp dumplings and pork and shrimp Shumai. However, they noted that the Hunan Chicken and rice differed from their expectations, lacking broth and having slightly mushy rice, which they speculated might be due to delivery.

Another reviewer had a less favorable opinion, describing the food as typical "mall food" in taste and quality, giving the place an approximate rating of 2.5 stars. This suggests a more casual dining experience possibly within a mall setting.

Further feedback indicates that the food might not always be served piping hot, with a suggestion that much of it is precooked and kept under a heat lamp. Additionally, customers may need to request utensils and napkins. It was also mentioned that there aren't many other food choices in the mall where Dim Sum Bistro is located.

A notable feature of Dim Sum Bistro is that the staff speaks Cantonese, Vietnamese, and English, potentially catering to a diverse local clientele. It's also mentioned that they accept credit cards but with an additional 3% charge.

In summary, Dim Sum Bistro offers a delivery option for dim sum and some Chinese dishes in Westminster. While the dim sum itself received positive feedback for taste and portion size, other aspects like the preparation and overall quality were viewed as more typical of mall food. Be aware of a potential 3% charge for credit card use and the need to request utensils and napkins. The staff's multilingual abilities might be a convenience for some customers.

Ordered delivery from here, and the food is pretty good. The sizes of those dim sums are pretty big portions, and they taste great. I got the Jumbo pork and shrimp dumplings and the pork and shrimp Shumai, and they are delicious. I also got the Hunan Chicken and rice, It was a little different from what I am used to. Usually, they come with broth but not in from this place, and also, the rice was a little mushy, but maybe because it was delivered and not dine in. Overall, I really like the dim sums in this place.

Accepts credit card for a 3% charge. Typical mall food ( taste and quality) so place is like 2.5 stars. The food wasn't piping hot as most of it was precooked and under a heat lamp. Have to ask for utensil and napkins. There isn't much food choices in this mall. Staff speaks Cantonese, vietnamese and English.

Located in the iconic Asian Garden Mall, this Dim Sum establishment is a disappointment. Went in on a Friday early afternoon, and the items served seem to be at least a day old. Sticky rice steamed in a leaf smelled spoiled, Har Gow (shrimp dumpling) was minced and the bottom was tough. The rice roll was just as bad. Took the Loss so you don't have to.

Asked for no ice in the milk coffee through uber eats, got ice anyway. Dumplings are smaller in person then pictures. Shrimp fried "spicy" "wonton" was not even a hint of spicy, didn't look like the picture at all, did not have any Crunch that one might expect from a difference between a steamed dumpling and a fried dumpling.
