About Diaspora

Diaspora, located at 2118 N High St, Columbus, OH 43201, offers Korean and Japanese cuisine. You can contact them at (614) 458-1141 or +1 614-458-1141.

Based on customer reviews, Diaspora is recognized as the only authentic Korean restaurant in the campus area. The restaurant is praised for its large portions and reasonable prices, particularly the lunch special, which includes ramen and sushi for under $15.

The beef bibimbap is highlighted as an authentic dish, featuring Korean spicy sauce and a variety of vegetables. The ramen is also popular, with its authentic spicy broth and half-boiled egg, although some customers note that the noodles taste like instant ramen from Asian grocery stores.

The sushi rice is sometimes served warm, which some customers find less desirable. The sashimi portions are noted to be large, which can make them harder to eat.

Despite these minor issues, the restaurant is highly regarded for its authentic Korean side dishes and flavorful meals. Street parking is available for customers.

Overall, Diaspora offers a good value with large portions of authentic Korean and Japanese food, making it a popular choice for locals.

Food 3.5. Good price for large portions with the boxes. Sashimi was a bit large and harder to eat. Street parking available.

It is the only authentic Korean restaurant around campus. Side dishes are always amazing. Beef Bibimbap tastes authentic with Korean spicy sauce and various vegetables. Ramen tastes great with a half boiled egg and authentic spicy broth, but it tastes like the instant ramen noodles from Asian groceries. Sushi rice is hot, which could be cooled. I like their rices more than noodles. Anyway, the lunch special coming with a Ramen and a set of Sushi cost less than $15.

I love this place! I have eaten here many times, and I finally wanted to leave a positive review. My go-to meal is the Soon Tofu Stew, and I request that the meat is left out of it. They are always kind enough to do so, and the stew always tastes delicious. It reminds me of the stew I ate while studying abroad in Korea, so I hope more people come here and enjoy the food!

I love this place- real good food, prompt service and fair prices. They have lunch specials that are tasty and for a good price. Returned spring 2024- amazing udon and great lunch specials!

Went here twice. First time got the salmon killer roll. Was a bit expensive for what I got, but still pretty good. Second time I got the ramen (photo included). Genuinely looked and tasted like it came straight from a package of instant noodles. I asked the waitress about it, and she confirmed they were instant noodles. Asked to replace it with the udon. They tried to charge me for both. Will not be coming back.
