Detroit Vegan Soul

We had such an amazing experience working with DVS for my sister in laws bridal shower. The owner was not only extremely accommodating but also professional and did a phenomenal job on the food. Even non-vegans were smacking their lips. I would recommend this place 10X over to anyone. Clean, delicious, and beautifully designed. Thank you DVS for allowing us to rent the space and host the most amazing bridal shower.

I’m not sure what happened to the quality of food at this place. I sent my Brother by here for an order of fried mushrooms and this was the image and the taste was about the same. Greasy like chicken gizzards.

If the chef asked me to commit a crime for her I WOULD NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I drove 6 hrs to come get her food. I been in love with their mac and cheese since 2021 when i first had it. 3 years later its the best vegan mac and cheese ive ever had and the closest to the real thing ive had since becoming plant based 10+ years ago. Please whatever you do, get the food and enjoy it, its the best vegan food ive ever had. Imma make that 6 hr drive again in a month, but honestly Id swim, jump and pogo stick across the sun to eat this food again.

Went there on 2-22-25. Place was pretty empty, only one person cooking and taking orders. No bathroom access. Food is vegan but very calorie dense. I wouldn’t come back or recommend. Edit in response to owner: LOL, talk about deep! And way to go to attract more customers . Had given 3 stars to service because I thought you were nice, ammended because of attitude.

This place is dope! Good food ,clean environment and great welcoming vibes!*They accept Card only! And either order inside the restaurant at the kiosk or online! We chose to use the kiosk, it was very simple to operate. We ordered a soul bowl, peach cobbler, cat fish (tofu) and 2 lavender lemonades.. Everything was fresh and delicious. 14 years ago I became allergic to seafood I still remember what it use to taste like. There fish, satisfyingly actived my pallets tasty memories of fish. I will be back! This one is definitely getting added to my favorites list!
