Our favorite little gem in Channahon! The food is freshly made right there and always delicious. Love seeing the family run businesses doing well. You are now able to order online and pick it up! Our favorites: potato pancakes, cheese sticks and the spud with ground beef. Lastly, their fresh made bread and cookies are fantastic! Don't go hime without getting some! We highly recommend.

First time here. It’s what I expected after reading from all the reviews from others here. Only thing I can add here is that I wish the cabbage dish was warmer when it was served. Dumplings are fresh tasting and the appetizers are good. Server guy was very friendly and served us with a smile which in my book a PLUS.

A True Gem for Polish Cuisine Lovers! We had the pleasure of visiting Delight Wish on a Thursday night, and what a fantastic experience! Our party of two was seated right away, with no wait, making for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and I absolutely love the huge wooden tables—plenty of room to spread out all your plates and truly savor the meal. Their drink selection is impressive, featuring a great variety of European beers, wines, sparkling wines, and classic Polish/Eastern European liquors. I ordered a Prosecco (they offer convenient, single-serving bottles—such a great touch!), while my friend opted for a Perła (Polish beer) with raspberry syrup. If you've never tried this combination, I highly recommend it! It's a nostalgic taste of Polish summers—a crisp Polish lager or pilsner with a hint of raspberry syrup. For food, I ordered the sauerkraut and mushroom pierogi, while my friend chose the potato and cheese (ruskie) pierogi. We both had them fried to perfection and served with sour cream on the side. Absolutely delicious! I also added a side of beets with horseradish (a perfect complement to the pierogi) and a serving of bigos (hearty and flavorful—just as it should be!). The prices are reasonable, the portions generous, and the flavors authentic. Plus, while you're there, you can pick up Polish bread, candy, chocolates, and chips to take home, making it a perfect spot to stock up on your favorite treats. I'll definitely be back—and if you're in the area, this is a must-try!

Absolutely love this place. Food is Absolutely amazing!! Very good and hot! Everything is prepared fresh so it may take some time to get it. The young lady who served us was so genuine! We'll definitely be back.

I was a little disappointed with some of the food. The Potato Pancakes had not much flavor other than Potato, could call them hash brown cakes. The pierogi's had food flavor but very dry.
