David's Catfish House

This place was absolutely delicious! I had the fish and shrimp combo with sides and my husband had the seafood platter with sides. Everything they put in front of us was great! We also had the beer battered onion rings and enjoyed them as well. The server was very nice and welcoming. We would absolutely recommend this place to others!

This location is great. The one in Pensacola makes it very difficult to get more food on the all you can eat meal. This location was on top of everything. Heather was a phenomenal waitress. She was very attentive, personable and kept the refills coming for drinks and food. The food was fresh, hot and simply delicious. Way better experience than the other David’s location.

The food here was absolutely terrible and not worth the price we paid. The fried okra included way too many oversized woody pieces and they also smelled burnt but did not taste of it. When we got our entrees they were inedible. The catfish was ruined by the taste of being cooked in burnt oil, same with the French fries. The green beans tasted like the liner of the can they came out of. I wouldn't come back and I would not recommend it to anyone. In reply to the business: Then there were three failures on the night we dined, a failure on the cook's part not noticing the oil was no good, a failure on our server's part not noticing the food smelled strongly of burnt oil, and finally a failure on the managements part not ensuring their processes are followed to not serve food with bad oil.

11/5/2019, 1:40PM Lunch crowd leaving. Great Service. Ordered the Assortment Plate...the cole slaw was too wet and way too sweet, the accompanied baked beans were very good thou a little mushy, the seafood was good, although we had our doubts that the stuffing in the crab shell was locally made. Our assessment overall was a 4.0 out of 5.0 2 Oct 2024: Ordered the combo basket (shrimp and oysters). The shrimp were very disappointing and appeared to be salad shrimp, did not qualify for medium size. The oysters were fine. Coleslaw very fine chopped and sweetened. Service was very good.

Quiet, Relaxed atmosphere this afternoon .. I was busy having a conversation with my sister and forgot to take photos of the food to share😉 We had the fried pickles as an appetizer along with the fried shrimp with hush puppies, cheese grits and David’s coleslaw . It was delicious . I love that they leave a pitcher of tea on your table so that you can refill your glass as needed 🫖 The service was great and everyone was so friendly 😊 Now, off to do some geocaching …and hopefully, to work off some of these calories 😊
