Very tight seating, in addition to tight line lane. This place seemed to be very popular and the long line went by quickly. The flavor of the chicken, the tenderness and freshness are all reasons why I rated a 5. I didn’t know what to expect sauce wise, an employee described it similar to canes sauce. As a saucy girl myself, I would feel the more accurate description is a honey mustard sauce. They have outdoors seating in addition to indoors. This was a good place to try but I don’t see myself craving it anytime soon.

The lady that took my order was really helpful. She asked me if it was my first time. Since it was my first time she explained me the menu and the type of sauces they have. I love spicy so I ordered the reaper and she warned me that it was spicy 🔥🥵. They made me sign a waiver to eat the reaper sandwich. The sandwich is delicious and extra extra spicy so be careful. The chicken was delicious and well seasoned. The sandwich has a good balance of flavors with the sauce and the coleslaw. The Mac and cheese was ok, it definitely looked like box Mac and cheese. Over all the food was great 😃. If you like chicken and spicy chicken I definitely recommended it

My daughter-in-law found this place while we were in town picking up a few things. I was a little worried because it says HOT chicken. When we went in, we noticed you could get varying degrees of heat. Which worked great for us as she likes hot and me not so much. I got Dave's #1, which are two tenders, fries, and pickles. The drink is extra. 😞 Mine was light mild, and her was medium, and we got the grands no spice. The young ladies behind the counter were very helpful. We both asked a lot of questions about the chicken spice and side options. The place is very busy, but they do have outside seating, giving them some added room for customers. We received our food, and we're truly surprised with the portion size and how good everything looked. The chicken was very tender and cooked to perfection. I will probably try a step up in the heat scale next time. See if it melts my face off. 😀 My daughter-in-law really loved hers as well, and she is truly hard to please! The fries are great as well. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. We got the kale slaw for the kids, and while I really wasn't a fan, the girls loved it. Great place and food!

Tried Dave’s hot chicken for the first time and I’ll be back! The chicken was fresh with good portion sizes. It was also as advertised with the spicyness. The medium had little spice and the hot had my lips tingling a little bit. The sauce cup they have was delicious as well. Online ordering was very easy.
